Beautiful well appointed property in wonderful location every need catered for great quiet base in which to explore the beautiful English Lakes fortunate to see a red squirrel in the back garden and enjoyed watching the cattle grazing in the field in front of the lounge window.. Very helpful and friendly service from all shops in village. Definitely recommend.

Great location for lakes and fells, ideal for walking and touring.. A home from home, comfortable without being fussy. Good value for money. Internet/Wifi would be nice to have for access to local information (as mobile signal is a bit inconsistent), but not much missed and certainly not a deal breaker.

A wonderful cottage, would absolutely go back, more a matter of when, not if.. Pooley Bridge has three good pubs and within easy striking range of Ullswater Lake and wonderful walking. A great base for walking the Eastern Fells. Very highly recommended.

We loved the lakes and spent a lot of the time cruising each lake.. Cottage was in a lovely quiet location but with shops and pub within walking distance. Weather was glorious for late September. Cottage really well stocked and was like him from home.

A very clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage set in a super location.. The cottage is a short walk from the center of Pooley Bridge, far enough away to be very quiet (weekends can get a bit busy at Pooley Bridge), but near enough to be able to walk into the center of the village in 5 mins. The cottage has a small rear garden which is well maintained, private and is a lovely sun trap. It also has it's own drive, so off street parking is a real bonus. Pooley Bridge itself is a beautiful location which is served by 4 pubs serving food, an excellent cafe and several small shops. Ullswater Steamers operate from a short distance from the middle of the village. An excellent holiday, I'll definitely be going back.

If you drive and want a small drink at night or a meal this cottage is excellenty placed for a quick walk to pubs serving meals in Pooley Bridge. TV reception is poor, but who needs it on holiday, plenty of books in cottage to read, great for crockery, pans kitchen equipment (although had to buy a tin opener, which we used once), everything u need is there. two good sized bedrooms with extra single in main bedroom. Kitchen dinner a good size with separate sitting room with electric fire. Owner provided keys as soon as we arrived.

Close to the centre of the village perfect base location.. Cosy and clean. Could not fault in any way. The snow just made it perfect as I've always wanted to see the lakes in the winter. Luckily it didn't stay long but it was beautiful. Would like to book again in the future.

Excellent stay in Eusbank. The third time we've been here. Nice quiet setting and close to village amenities and to Ullswater. We'll definitely stay again.
