The market town of Skipton, known as 'The Gateway to the Dales' is just 7 miles away, boasting an ancient castle, a beautiful old parish church and a wealth of shops and bars set along a cobbled high street. Spend a day exploring Brontë Country and the nearby town of Howarth, or venture up into The Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Beauty. For family days out, visit Thornton Hall Farm, Brimham Rocks or take the steam train between Embsay and the priory ruins at Bolton Abbey. Instantly feel at home upon entering this beautiful property where you are greeted by a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with underfloor heating for a really cosy welcome.
