Self-Catering Elm Cottage in Cornwall Midlands

We had a lovely stay in Elm Cottage with our small dog, Norton. The cottage had everything we could need and was well equipped. It was warm and clean and very comfortable. We had the sun rise to the front and sun set to the rear of the cottage. Quite special. There was a lovely wooded area at the bottom of the site which we hadn't expected, which we all enjoyed. There was a good sized slabbed area with a drying line to the rear of the property and views out over the fields. If a larger dog were to stay here, guests would have to be vigilant about the dog managing to go over the back fence. However, a more substantial barrier would have spoiled the very enjoyable views. Vose Farm was well situated for our travels around this part of Cornwall. We were approximately 1 mile away from The Crown Inn, St Ewe where we had an evening meal. Our dog was made welcome. We were approx 6-8 miles from The Polgooth Inn, Polgooth which was a very busy pub (you might wish to book a table), where we and our dog were made very welcome. We had a very comfortable and happy stay in Elm Cottage at Vose Farm and have no hesitation in recommending this holiday venue. Sent from my iPad

Location wonderful, spotlessly clean, lovely hosts, brilliant location.. Would have liked some information on local attractions, a welcome pack eg. to make a drink upon arrival or a bottle of vino, some spare loo rolls, bin bags and maybe a bin to put your recycling as you have to walk to the bins every time. But very happy otherwise would definitely return.

My wife and I have stayed here a couple of time over the last couple of years and found the site, cottage and owners all to be perfect. The bungalow is newly built and has all modern equipment. Wet room, bath chair all wheelchair accessible, your own patio area and parking at the front with wide access throughout. The site is so clean and a huge dog walking area with a wood, a lake and Childrens play area. Quiet roads all around and about 10 minutes to quaint Mevagissy

Our holiday through Sykes cottages,was amazing,all the imformation we needed was sent to us via e mail.. Which was easily understood,and concise. We will definitely use Sykes Cottages site again,in fact we are about to book our next one in Wales.So thankyou Sykes Cottages. Our holiday was amazing,brilliantly located,for Truro,StAustell,Caerhays beach(5mins down the road).So many places easily driven to in no time stall. Vose farm cottages as far as we were concerned were 5 star.and we will be returning there next year.

I small welcome pack ie:- milk,teabags,biscuits.. Would of helped until shopping was done. also book of recommended places to eat or shop,local hospitals and doctors would also be good

We had a lovely holiday the holiday home was beautiful it was clean well .... We had a lovely holiday the holiday home was beautiful it was clean well equipped and very comfortable there was plenty to do both for myself my partner and the little girl it was situated in a place where we were able to visit some beautiful places lovely beaches and shops not to far away we also did some lovely walks

A great accessible cottage.. Spotless and so well appointed. Very tasteful, comfortable, well maintained and modern. Very well located for exploring many famous sites and those not so famous. The lovely new owners are working hard all the time to enhance the guests' experience and its a credit to them. if we return to this area again we would have no hesitation in booking again. As a bonus the sunsets and the view from the sitting room is second to none. Thank you for a great time.

Elm cottage was lovely.. Well equipped with everything you could need. Lovely views from the patio and very helpfull and friendly owners. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Vose cottages to anyone wanting a holiday in Cornwall that is pet friendly.

This was a wonderful property everything was beautifully clean and well laid out fantastic views watching the sleep was great fun, a large amount of space both inside and out and close to a lot of the tourist sites.. We had a fantastic time.
