We had such a wonderful time at El Zapo! My wife, son, and mother and I spent 13 nights here. The first few days took some getting used to, especially the narrow access road and the steep slope to the house. Fortunately, we quickly adjusted. There are numerous fruit trees around the house, it's very peaceful, and the town center is just a short drive away. Thank you so much, P. and C., for your hospitality. We will definitely be back!

We arrived and were made to feel very welcome by P. and C. The house was very clean and tidy and very private. The pool was lovely and the BBQ was brilliant. Although the last bit of the road up to the house is very narrow we soon got used to it. We were literally only 5 mins from the centre of Almunecar where we found some lovely cafes and restaurants and all very reasonably priced. We had a fabulous relaxing holiday and would thoroughly recommend it.

The owners were super welcoming and smiling. Even though we spoke very little Spanish, P. the owner helped us because he spoke a little French. The road is narrow and difficult but with time we can manage. The house is beautiful, the swimming pool magnificent. We enjoyed it without being overlooked, in total calm

Holiday home on a slope with a difficult journey, but this was made easier by the caring landlords Paco and Carmen and after 2 days it was no longer a problem. Upon arrival there was fruit from their own garden and useful tips for the beach and food. Very good WiFi, great pool, not overlooked, large grill, no direct neighbors, therefore very quiet location. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend this accommodation. Good excursion possibilities to Malaga and Granada.

After a journey of 2000kms, we discovered this magnificent property isolated on a hillside not overlooked. For peace and ideal rest. The swimming pool and the vegetation are a major asset. The very welcoming owners. One downside, however, the access to turn and climb up to the house is very very complicated! I have 31 years of license. I took several days to master the maneuver with the help of my boys to guide me. We will be back because the setting is so pretty.
