Visited in January with my partner and 5 year old daughter. Loved it so much we return next week! Spotless cottage, fabulous decor, very friendly hosts (who even lent us an awesome sledge to ride in their fields). Can't wait to be back.

Lovely quiet cottage.. Very comfortable for 6 people. Close enough to all the local attractions but without being too close to business of Aviemore town centre. Our second visit to this cottage and plan to return again.

A wonderful little cottage, next to a working farm.. The little calves are lovely. The cottage is well equiped and clean. A fine place to come down. A nice view out of the living room window! Take a tea and sit down! The cottage is a good base to explore the cairngorms and also the nortern region. Have long tours through the highlands an come home to Easter Duthil Cottage. Thanks Emma. We'll come back again.

The pictures really don't do this lovely cottage justice.. Although the cottage is on a working farm, it is set back in a secluded setting making it a relaxing and quiet base to explore the Cairngorms. Emma the owner greeted us when we arrived, which I felt gave it a personal touch and her Husband Rory always acknowledged us as we were coming and going in the car up and down the farm track. The owner had really thought about everything with the facilities available and extras like hand soaps, washing up liquid, soap powder not to mention the traditional edible scottish goodies that were a welcome treat after a long drive when we first arrived. The cottage is ideally located for accessing the A9, near to Carrbridge, Aviemore and Grantown-on-spey. We only stayed for the week, but there would have been enough in the area to keep us occupied for a couple of weeks. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return in the future.

Fantastic location on the edge of woodland, great for wildlife and only a short distance to Aviemore. Regretfully we were never met by the owners though and had no idea how to use the living room fire (cold on some evenings). Also the shower head was faulty and the fridge had a tendency to warm your food at the front and freeze the stuff solid towards the back! We enjoyed our holiday but things could definitely be improved with a more personal touch and a few running repairs.

The cottage was perfect for us, being in a quiet location, but not too far from amenities.. It was lovely to sit out in the afternoon/evening and enjoy dinner in the quietness and isolation. Good location for the outdoor activities such as walking and an outdoor park for the little one located about 2 miles away! We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday!

Friendly welcome and a very comfortable base for our photography holiday.. Nice to be able to return to a log burner and well stocked wood shed after a long cold day in the mountains. I would definitely return here again.

Been going to Carr-bridge for years which is just down the road. I found this cottage by chance and what a find. Everything you need is in the cottage. This cottage is on a working farm but set back from everything. Great open spaces for sledging and the owners even provided the sledge. The owners were very welcoming on arrival then left you alone which was great. Was sad to leave but will be back.

The cottage was well laid out and had everything you needed and the location was quite and peaceful and not far from the village of Aviemore.. Aviemore has everything to offer from walking to skiing up the cairngorms.
