August 2019
We stayed for a week in this comfortable cottage.. The cottage is wood burner heated but we never needed it in August. There were 3 of us, so my son had to make/unmake the sofa-bed every day. The owner is wonderful and provided us with any information or assistance requested. The cottage is isolated so obviously transport is required, the local village Killorglin is a cycle distance but too far to walk. The electric charge is about €16/week.

House was one of the best equipped self catering places we stayed in.. Eileen was really helpful and had left much appreciated supplies for us on arrival. All in all - great holiday.

Lovely owner.. Place smaller than it looks on photos but that did not bother us as just 2 people. Water pressure low in shower but just about adequate. Facilities good especially as we managed to catch up with clothes washing and there is a tumble dryer available. We found it a great base for exploring Dingle, ring of Kerry (go to Valentia Island) and Killarney National Park.

Eileen and Bertie were absolutely brilliant! Answered all our questions and were very helpful. The cottage was lovely (quite cold so take warm clothes but could be due to bedroom heater not working). Gorgeous views from the front door. And easy drive to Killarney, Dingle and Ring of Kerry. Have already recommended Eagles Crest to family members and would 100% stay again! Thank you Eileen and Bertie for a wonderful trip to Ireland. Phoebe and Andrew

It was a great cottage to rent very suitable for what I wanted.. Eileen and Bertie most obliging couple and very helpful to me with touring information and anything they could do to help. I was there at a difficult renovation time for them but they took me being there in there stride . My grand daughter and I whilst there had a lovely time. No do not want to publish as I feel the renovation situation is their private affair and they could not have been a more hospitable couple.

The owners of Eagle's Crest could not have been more kind, welcoming and thoughtful.. Every need was exceeded and a lot of thought had gone in to making sure that we were comfortable. We have never come across accommodation that had so many extra touches. It is a very well positioned property for exploring the south west of Ireland.

Eileen and Bertie really made us feel at home from the moment we met them. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were full of great suggestions of where to go and what to do. It was our first trip to Ireland, but I am sure it won't be our last. The cottage was in a lovely, peaceful spot, beautifully clean and there was a great welcoming pack of food and drink waiting for us on our arrival. Highly recommended - we were sorry to leave the cottage, Eileen and Bertie and the lovely Bella.

We were very touched with the hospitality of the owners of the property. They have provided everything we could ask for. It was located a few miles outside the town of Killorglin, very accessible, and the scenery (especially on top of the nearby hill) was breath-taking. An hour drive to Dingle peninsula, 30 minutes to Killarney, and 30 minutes to Tralee! People around the town are also very lovely and friendly. Sweet little cottage with warm owners in a traditional and picturesque village.

In a quiet hamlet but close to Killorglin town facilities. An annex of Eileen & Berties bungalow. Private yet with easy access to the owners for whom nothing was too much trouble. Homely would be a good word, not luxury but comfort.Ideal for 2. Great access to walks, sights, Gap of Dunloe, The 3 ring tours Dingle, Kerry & Kenmare. A traffic jam in Killarny is about 4 car in front at the lights!! Enjoyed every minute of this magical place. The weather helped a lot. Its green because it occasionally rains but without it how else would we have Guinness... Hope to go again.

The weather was very benign for Ireland affording a whole stay of spectacular views and a pleasant time. The property was very quiet, ideal for just 2 people and homely comfortable. Well situated for the 3 Rings of Kerry/Cork. The comforts well supported by the owners who were the best of Irish hosts and hospitality. We would happily go again.
