We had a wonderful long weekend break.. Very big property with plenty of space for a large family. They have thought of everything you could possibly need.
Parking was not a problem, the car parks are a few minutes away and we didnt need the car once we unloaded outside as Teignmouth has lots to offer including the ferry to take you across to Shaldon. We stayed local and didnt use the cars for the whole weekend! There is free parking if you are fit enough to walk up to off road parking near the playing fields. The property is very comfortable and welcoming.Great value for money.

Great family house for a Christmas get together, plenty of rooms to escape into! ! A few niggles, extractor fan in kitchen doesn't work. Pod boiler pilot light blew out twice. Lounge TV a bit troublesome but nothing too major. Good facilities, clean, tidy, close to the town. We were sorry to leave.

Spacious and comfortable accommodation.. Really good selection of DVDs,books and games. Paid £25 for weekly parking permit which was really good value as we could use it throughout Teignbridge. We stayed during Easter holidays and overnight parking was not an issue; however the nearest car park was always full during the day, possibly due to commuters using the station. For dog owners - there is a small paved yard - the nearest bit of grass for late night walks was near the station.

This was our 2nd visit and we will be back again.. Suits a large family as there is plenty of space and the town/beach is within walking distance.
We had a lovely week

It was a great base for visiting the rest of Devon and into Cornwall, also located near town and beach so didn't have to use the car for a couple of days which was extra relaxing! It was great to have somewhere so dog friendly too. We all had a great time.

Just got back from a very enjoyable stay at Dunholme House. It's perfectly located close to shops, train station and Teignmouth beach. The house is very spacious and comfortable. I'm a light sleeper and was able to sleep really well as the beds were great and didn't hear any noise from outside. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Teignmouth - which would be lovely. Thank you.

A large comfortable house with all the facilities and furnishings as you would hope there to be.. The location is excellent.
Some clearer guidance on how to recycle would be helpful - we ended up taking stuff down to Waitrose.

My daughter got married this past Bank Holiday Monday at S. Michael's and our whole family spent the week here both in preparation and recovery.
Everything we could need was here: including WiFi (if a little unreliable at times) and a well stocked kitchen - just add food!
The House was clean and tidy and right close to the town. There isn't much parking in Teignmouth, but we parked up by the senior school up the (steep) hill for free. It was less than 5 mins away.
It's a big house but 9 of us were very comfortable. Recommended.

We stayed here 12 months ago.. The whole booking process with Sykes was seamless and easy we would highly reccommend them.
The house it's self was everything we expected and more. Ideally located just a short walk from shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach. The house was comfortable, clean and the facilities for families were spot on. We went armed with toys, books etc to entertain a 3 year old and 1 year old and we didn't need any of it. Everything we needed was there.
I am sure we will return at some point and we have already booked our next holiday for 2018 with Sykes cottages.

It was really a home from home cottage.. Everyone enjoyed their stay here.
Lots of toys and games to keep the children happy.
Would of liked a stair gate.
It had plenty of towels and beds were made up.
Overall an excellent place to stay.

Teignmouth was a lovely, small resort. The house was lovely and the beach decorations were fun. The extra sitting room was excellent for the teenagers with plenty of games, CDs etc. There was lots of extra equipment in the kitchen if we had wanted to do more cooking. Lack of parking was not a problem as we could park in the road opposite. In fact, we have a lovely weekend break and I hope to go to both Teignmouth and stay at Dunholme House again.

The property was amazingly equipped for 3 generations of our family. It was very spacious and perfect for 6 adults and 2 young children. We were able to park 3 cars close by and the town shops and beach are so close we didn't use any of the vehicles during our stay. The location is very quiet, we experienced no road noise at all. Thoroughly recommend Dunholme House for a relaxing family holiday.

Dunholme House was a large and very well stocked property with a useful first floor play room. There were en-suites to both the double rooms and all the beds were made up on arrival.

The situation was excellent, being a 5-10 minute stroll to the beach. We loved Teignmouth, which we had not properly explored before. The furnishings were comfortable, but lived-in, which made us feel relaxed, there was an excellent range of books, films and games and we were exceptionally lucky with the weather.

Excellent house. Great creature comforts that I wouldn't have expected (CD's/DVD's/Hi-Fi/Books). Plenty of room. Every kitchen utensil I could imagine. Perfect for self caterers.
