The Country Park with its lake and walking and cycling routes is ideal for an active break, plus the nearby Low Hauxley Nature Reserve, are perfect for wildlife lovers. Those wanting to explore the region's towns, villages and impressive Castles can visit Warkworth, Alnwick, and further up the Northumberland coastline to Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh. The sandy stretches of beach at the Country Park and at Cresswell as well as the latter's ice cream shop are well worth a visit, and there's a nearby golf course for those wishing to bring their clubs. The property has ample space for families and groups. The cosy lounge, accessible from the entrance hall, has three sofas and an impressive feature fireplace, and leads through to the dining room with seating for six or more. The huge family kitchen offers even more seating in the form of a breakfast table and is equipped with a fridge/freezer with an ice and water dispenser, two electric ovens, a five ring gas hob with wok burner, a dishwasher and even a boiling water tap.
