The cottage was very well appointed in a lovely quiet location with stunning walks across the fields nearby with breathtaking views over Porthpean beach and the surrounding coastline.. The welcome pack of wine, flowers and a Cornish cream tea was a lovely touch. We would certainly visit again and stay in the same cottage as there are so many beaches and pretty fishing villages like Mevagissey, Charlestown and Fowey....pronounced Foy apparently....to explore in the area all the way down to the Lands End peninsular. A visit to the Minack theatre at Porthcurno is well worth the journey down the A30 just to see the stunning location and views. Thank you, Helen, for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage.

A great cottage close to the coastal path.. Supermarkts closeby but not by foot (+/- 5 min by car). The village is small and very quiet, superb for people needing rest & tranquility like ourselves. The cottage itself is small but very comfortabele. There is a big tv for a relax watch after great walks.

Driftwood Cottage was exactly as described.. We had a wonderful week, and found the cottage very comfortable and well-equipped. Reserved parking was a real boon. Every effort had been made to make us feel welcome. There was even a vase of fresh roses on the table! The cottage is close to many picturesque and interesting places to visit. The neighbours are really warm and friendly. We didn't want to leave!

Beautiful, really breathtaking surrounding.. The coastal path starts right behind the cottage and the next beach is a 5 minutes walk. Beatiful view from the bedroom windows. Very quiet and very friendly neighbourhood. Ideal for a relaxing hideaway, ideal for families and dogs.

The cottage sits in a lovely position with beautiful views.. It is very cosy and comfortable. There was a delicious cream tea, wine and flowers which greeted us on our arrival which was a lovely touch. The only thing I think I would say is that the stairs are quite steep with narrow treads which would only really bother elderly or infirm guests. Otherwise everything was perfect. I appreciated the easy parking outside and the cottage was a good base for visiting all the local attractions. We had a wonderful time.
