Area Strathpeffer is often compared to a Bavarian Mountain resort, and owes its growth to the discovery of water springs during the 1700s. The original Spa Pavilion has been restored after a period of disuse and now serves as a venue for a variety of events, including concerts, dances, dramas and exhibitions. This is a popular base for walkers, with Ben Wyvis within striking distance and the Iron Age hill fort of Knock Farril offering views not to be missed!
