1/8/20 - 8/8/20 Fantastic little cottage, offering great value for money.. COVID-19 safe All measures had been met and exceeded. It felt very safe to stay there Comfortable and homely little cottage. Offering peace and quiet privacy yet conveniently located to the local village and all amenities you could need. Ideally placed for touring and sightseeing not just in the local area but also further afield We had a fantastic and enjoyable week staying at this cottage We would not hesitate to recommend it or to return again for a future stay In fact we are already planning to do so.

Would highly recommend anyone to stay in the cottage, beautiful sights and the owners were very helpful.. Very clean and owners supply a lot of items, such as toilet rolls, toiletries, bread milk and butter (A very nice touch on arrival) Thank you for an amazing stay.

We had a lovely time at Doogara cottage.. On arrival we found all the necessary provisions etc to start us off. The owners did not impose on us and were very helpful in providing anything else we needed for the cottage and our stay. As we are Townies from near london the peat fire was wonderful and brought back memories for us of the time when open fires were standard in houses Very good holiday , shame about the weather but we expected rain and were well equipped We made it back by road and ferry arrived safe and sound. We stayed in Doogara cottage while attending a wedding. Its a beautiful and charming place with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. It looks like it stepped out of a postcard. The cottage contains everything you could need plus lots of extra home comforts. The sitting room is so cozy you would never want to leave. The beds are bed linen are top notch. The hosts live nearby and went above and beyond their duty to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. I cannot recommend Doogara highly enough. I will be back!

We Stayed in this lovely cottage in July 2017. It was a short break to celebrate my husbands 50th Birthday & our 26th wedding anniversary. We have got lots of family in Ballaghadreen so this was a great location for us! It is a great base for many lovely places to visit on a daily basis like Knock, Sligo, Castle bar, Westport, Galway are all within driving distance for a day out. The cottage has got two bedrooms which are a good size & are comfortable & clean, the living room has an open fire with plenty of turf in the shed to keep it going. The kitchen has got everything including fridge, washing machine, toaster, microwave, plenty of cups, plates etc. the toilet, shower room was very clean too. We had a lovely week in this cottage & would defiantly go back again. When we arrived there was a welcome package of Irish loaf, butter, jam, milk which was a lovely touch.
