Distant Shores is a first floor holiday apartment situated in the village of Ventnor in Isle of Wight. Hosting two bedrooms; a king-size double and a twin with an en-suite, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find a kitchen and an open plan sitting and dining area. To the outside is off road parking and a balcony with furniture. Situated in a pleasant setting with lovely views, Distant Shores is a well presented apartment in a scenic part of England.

Area
The Victorian seaside resort of Ventnor is located at the southern end of the island. The village holds a variety of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants which line the esplanade, whilst the Botanical Gardens are within easy reach and well worth a visit. With plenty to see and do around the island for all the family, including great walking and cycling opportunities, medieval castles and historic houses, you will be spoilt for choice.

The Isle of Wight, with its beaches, unspoiled scenery, rich heritage and over 500 miles of award-winning public footpaths is a walker’s paradise, or if sailing is your thing, the renowned annual Cowes Week is not to be missed.

A really lovely property. Kitchen really well equipped, bed and furniture comfortable, although if there were 4 people staying I think it needs another chair as there is only 1 chair and a 2 seater settle. The parking space is very tight and awkward to get in to. It's a great town to stay in but be prepared for everything to be on a hill. This property is good value for money if there are 4 of you, but for 2 it's gone overpriced for next year.

Really loved Distant Shores. The apartment has a lovely contemporary decor, but still felt very comfortable and homely. Great views from the bedroom and balcony over the sea and shoreline.

Ideal Location for Exploring the Isle of Wight 'Distant Shores' is very comfortable and well equipped.. We loved the seaview and the fact that there are many places to have a nice meal within walking distance. The reserved parking space is a real bonus. We couldn't have chosen a better holiday home for our first time on the Isle of Wight-

The apartment was very comfy and extremely convenient for all amenities in Ventnor.. It was easy to get to the rest of the island on the bus. A really great place to stay.

Great clean modern property is wonderful location.. Parking is a bonus with 2 minute walk into town and the beach front. Lovely sunsets from the flat as well.

Well appointed for walking and car trips.. Excellent bus service across the entire island from just round the corner, plenty of good restaurants and shops within a few minutes(5 at most) and wonderful sea view. Glad that there was a dedicated parking space even if it was a little tight on entry and exit. Can thoroughly recommend this lovely flat. Chris

We were very pleased with the apartment.. it had everything we required including 2 bathrooms and a car park space large enough for our car. the owners had gone the extra mile with the quality of the furnishings and the kitchen equipment. We have stayed in so many places which had been lacking in kitchen china glasses etc. However this apartment exceeded expectations. Thank you so much for making the holiday such a great one. Ventnor was also lovely. best place on the Island! So - a great apartment and a great place. what more is required!

The Distant Shores apartment met the description given and had a few extra welcome touches.. We found your communications via email through each stage of the booking efficient and reassuring. We appreciate that the vast majority of people will travel by their own means of transport, but there are a few of us out here who do not own cars - or even don't drive, so did a lot of research on the possibilities of where we could conveniently stay on the Isle of Wight. Therefore information on frequency of train or bus services would be very useful in connection with the properties you advertise. A map location of the property would also have been helpful as we trundled our luggage along the route given for car access, whereas the was a much shorter route from the bus stop to the property on foot. This is a suggestion, not a criticism, given because the needs of non-car travelers are often overlooked! (We successfully traveled from Lancashire to Ventnor without any problems!)

What a fantastic short break.. We've been to Ventnor before but enjoyed it so much more because of this accommodation. It is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable with fab views out to sea. Also thanks to the owners who were very helpful during our stay, nothing was too much to ask for. Will definitely visit again
