Self-Catering Reviews

The cottage was immaculate, spacious and well furnished.. Brixham was bustling and vibrant. We especially enjoyed evenings by the harbour; swims at St Mary's Bay; a walk round to Berry Head, with its magnificent views and lovely lunch at The Guardhouse cafe. Public transport links were very good, the bus station at easy walking distance from the cottage. We travelled by bus, steam train and foot ferry via Paignton and Kingswear to Dartmouth. Various ferries run from the harbour - we took a 'sea safari' and saw dolphins and a seals.

Great location for Brixham.. Cottage was perfect. Back garden terrace area could almost double its space if cut back & tidied up. Parking a nightmare, had 3 locals start rows as we were unloading!! Soon found better space a short walk away and left car there for the week. Wouldn't put us off coming back

Cottage more spacious than the photos suggest.. Close to the harbour although very steep steps. Parking can be hard although we managed it with 2 ,cars. Beds very comfortable, all the facilities of home.

The cottage is fantastic for our family cosy, but with plenty of room.. Just a short walk from the harbour and the main shops. We’ve been before and parking can sometimes be an issue, but this time we managed to park at the front of the cottage every day! We will definitely be booking again (3rd time).

Loved Brixham and the holiday cottage and everyone seemed so friendly.. We had a great time. Parking was not the problem we thought it would be.. As we enjoy walking it suited us to use the local bus and ferries.and leave the cars in the adjacent street. Would recommend it to anybody prepared for a little hill walking to the town and harbour which were nearer than expected.

Good location in Brixham.. Lovely house very comfortable home from home. Parking was a problem on occasions. Apart from that . It was great.

Only thing which would make the property better would be tight clear and tidy/ cut back the courtyard garden.. That would have added to the offering. Everything else was great.
