We have a wonderful week in this Villa ,she is located really good ,very near do the stone beach and to the river ,really easy to get to the town .The house it self is really warm and cosy ,we been 4 adult,4 kids and a dog .And for all of us is was enough space .We did give to the kids entire ground floor apartment so they did have they own space to play and we have the dinning room and living room .The fire place is amazing on the evening .Is relaxing and peaceful. On the start of the booking we been concerned about the main road us is passing through the living room windows so we think it will be noise ,but to be fair we did not even notice what the road is was there. The garden is big and a lot of space to enjoy the coffee on the morning (my favourite place was the hight point in the garden us it was most nice place us you can see the sea ).What can I say we really love the villa ,all clean ,the new showers and white bed sheets what do you need more to wake up happy .Thank you Dave for this lovely Villa .Dewi villa you got a small place in our hurts .????????

Dewi Villa is an unusual layout for a holiday let. There is a self contained unit in the basement and a conventional three bedroom house above. We felt that it may have been a bed and breakfast once upon a time with the owners living downstairs. Husband and I stayed downstairs with the dog and the adult children occupied the bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. It's an old building, very nicely decorated, and perfect for a family week away. Our only criticism (we are a bit of a foodie family) was that the kitchen, while at first glance well supplied with equipment, wasn't really geared up to cook meals for eight people. While there were lots of pans, there were no large cooking pots or large frying pans. We also found that the electric cooker, although it looked lovely, wasn't that friendly to cook with. We find this quite often in holiday lets and can only conclude that most families actually eat out, rather than raid the local butcher and search out farm shops. The garden is large and well laid out, with a patio table at the highest point looking over the village rooftops and out to sea. We witnessed some of the most stunning sunsets that we have ever seen in the UK. A short walk to the beach, clifftop dog walking aplenty, and lots to do in the surrounding area. We agreed we would go back - but would take a large chopping board and a very large saucepan with us. The only downside is that the access to the house via a steep drive with narrow gateposts is tricky. My stepson scraped his car and I refused point blank to get our own (larger) car on and off the drive.
