The Norfolk coast is easily reachable from North Walsham, and beautiful locations like Cromer are nearby and well worth a trip to the beach during the summer. The wonderful city of Norwich, with its spectacular architecture and abundance of top-notch services and things to enjoy, is only 15 miles distant for an inland day excursion. Great Yarmouth, a perennially well-liked beach town, is worth the detour down the coast for its classic charm and seaside attractions; it's a wonderful place for a family day out.
