So much good about this cottage we would be happy to return.. Pros Secure garden car port Lovely decor and attention to detail inc paw welcome mat Not overlooked History of the building very interesting Milk & Biscuits on our arrival Cons Main Bed is only a double which is not comfortable for us as my husband is disabled so needs more space. There is room for a king size so I hope the owners consider this The Heating was not very easy to control No cleaning products for surfaces in the kitchen provide which is needed (lots of other things thought of though) Bathroom-Tiny towels so I’d make sure I took my own Close to a farm so the aroma outside not fpleasant at times.

We booked Daisy Cottage for a couple of days getaway with our 2 dogs.. When we walked in the door it was beautiful, I don't think I've ever felt so instantly at home like this before. Spotless, everything we needed was there. The dogs, this was their first holiday, loved it also. Slept soundly, neighbours friendly as were everyone we met. Cafes and pubs all dog friendly and made us welcome. We are already looking to rebook in the new year... I'd move in tomorrow if I could x

A good walking area, with well signed footpaths.. Depending of the time of year, plenty of attractions to visit within 20 miles if you are not too keen on walking. Great pub food in the village pub! A very quiet, welcoming village in a lovely rural position.

We found the cottage was above our expectations in cleanliness, and beautifully designed with inglenook fireplace, and beams in the living room.. The garden had all facilities like barbeque, clothesline, table & chairs & parasol. The kitchen was immaculate with lovely china & all that's needed in saucepans etc. My sister slept in the double bed in one of the bedrooms, and I slept in a single bed in the other bedroom. However my bed, was a bid small. It was a small single bed probably intended for a child. I'm not a large person. But I don't think anyone who is large would have been comfortable sleeping as the bed was narrow in width. It was a hot few nights, and I was quite hot under the duvet provided. I would have had just a light blanket at home when weather was hot ..... The area was beautiful & unspoilt. With everything within a few miles from the cottage.

We had a wonderful time at Daisy cottage, it is spacious and very well equipped.. The garden was very safe and we knew our little dog would not be able to get out. The best self catering property we have stayed in.. Property well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen was particularly good. Garden secure and suitable for dog. All of the electrical appliances new and good makes. Only one issue the bathroom. The need for a shelve in the shower area. Also very slippery, some form of shower mat needed. Lack of storage space in this area. But overall exceptional.

Lovely, well equipped cottage.. Nice secure enclosed garden safe for children or pets. Friendly village, lots of footpaths nearby for walkers and/or dog owners.
April 2017
We (2 adults) stayed here for a week for a spring break choosing this location for its proximity to the nature reserves nearby. The cottage was well appointed, clean, cosy and met all our needs. We were glad to be able to store our bicycles in the shed within the secure back garden and we were able to reach all nearby reserves by a short cycle ride. The garden furniture would have enabled al fresco dining if the weather had been warmer. The village pub at the end of the road was good and very friendly, making us so welcome. Nearby nature sites we enjoyed included: Minsmere, North Warren, Dingle Marshes and Snape. The National Trust site at Sutton Hoo was a short drive away and provided an interesting day out. Our car (Octavia) just fit into the off road car port. Anyone with a larger car or more than one car might want to check parking arrangements before booking.

Daisy Cottage was by far the best cottage we have stayed in. It had been newly decorated, it was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The large enclosed garden was lovely, safe and perfect for young children or in our case our dog. There were numerous walks from the front door and beaches and local towns only a very short drive away. This is an area of Suffolk we are getting to know well and when we return, Daisy Cottage will be our first choice.
