Daffodil Cottage is one of five stone-built holiday properties called Tyddyn Whisgin Cottages, located close to the village of Caeathro on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage sleeps five people in two bedrooms (one double and one twin with a pull out bed) and has a family bathroom. The cottage also contains an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed patio with furniture. Daffodil Cottage provides superbly well-equipped, quality accommodation throughout and provides a great base from which to discover the numerous leisure activities available in this fantastic part of North Wales.

Accomodation Details
Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 family room with a double and a single bed. Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Area
Caeathro is a small rural North Wales village close to the Snowdonia National Park, Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula. The village has its own shop and pub, and is just two miles from the popular tourist destination of Caernarfon with its 13th Century castle, old town walls and smart waterfront. Caernarfon offers a fine selection of shops and places to eat, as well as a station for the Welsh Highland Railway where you can catch a train that takes you through breathtaking scenery; guided tours of the castle and historic pageants during the season; and sea-fishing trips off the coast of Anglesey. The gorgeous beaches of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula are easily accessed from this location, and many climbing, walking, mountain biking, golfing and water sports opportunities are all within reach nearby.

Enclosed rear patio with furniture and views towards the Menai Straits and Anglesey. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 1 mile, pub 2 miles. Note: There is no pavement on the road leading to the shop.

Lovely cottage, perfectly situated for exploring the North Wales area.. We contacted the owner before regarding the travel cot and she was really helpful she also left some lovely extra touches in the cottage for our arrival. Would highly recommend this beautiful cottage.

This was a short two night stay in Snowdonia.. The cottage was used as a base so I could take part in a event in Llanberis. The location was spot on, as it was only ten minutes down the road from Snowdon and just outside Caernarfon for the Saturday Evening. The Cottage was perfect with every facility available. The area immediately around the cottage was perfect,clean and tidy and very quaint. My 4 year old boy enjoyed the little games room, and finding all the little stone animals dotted about the place. All in all a Highly recommended set of cottages, the fact that if you wish you can book more cottages for bigger parties has really sold me on the idea on a larger family weekend to the glorious Snowdonia National Park sometime in 2020.

The beds were comfortable and we had everything we might need to hand.. We had trouble working the hob and called in the owner, who also couldn't get it to work. Next day [Sunday] we came home to find much to our surprise that a new hob was in place. I am thinking of going again next year with my daughter.

We stayed here for 4 nights and found the cottage very comfortable and homely; it was well-equipped. A perfect place to stay if you are looking for a base when visiting various parts of Snowdonia. The games room is excellent and my children enjoyed using it whenever they wanted as it was always unlocked.

Advertised as having two beds in each room was incorrect one in one three in the other.. Also could do with bigger bath towels and better Wi-fi couldn’t pick it up

Hi Lovely cottage with beautiful garden / patio.. My only comment would be that the small single bed was not very comfortable and we would have preferred two double beds (or two singles pushed together). Otherwise 10/10 Mike

Daffodil Cottage and the whole site are very well maintained. The location is very quiet and relaxing, and has beautiful views over open countryside. The site is especially easy to get around, with well paved access throughout for less able guests.

What a beautiful place to stay, just a stone throw from Caernarfon! The farm is one of the tidiest I have ever seen. The buildings have been lovingly restored. We stayed at Daffodil Cottage, it was a cold winter's day when we arrived, but when we opened the cottage door we were greeted by underfloor heating!! No complaints what so ever! Games room is also great for the kids. The owners made us feel at home. Thank you very much and we will be staying again!

We are Diane & Brian from australia, We rented Daffodil Cottage for one week in June 2013 The cottage was lovely and very very clean and well presented. It was a great position in the Country but close to the town and coast a great spot for getting around all the places of interest and shopping. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful nothing was any trouble . Would confidently recommend Daffodil cottage to any one looking for a lovely Cottage country experience.
