Cuxach de n'Alba description

Cuxach (pronounced Coo-satch) de n'Alba is a traditional style villa located in the area it is named after, Cuxach, which is in the middle of the triangle formed by Pollensa, Cala San Vicente and Puerto Pollensa. It's just a short drive to the beaches and amenities of the latter two, whilst the shops and numerous good restaurants of the Old Town are a short drive (or longish walk) away. There are also a couple of supermarkets and local eateries within walking distance, but a car is recommended to enjoy the full holiday experience. The house has been recently redecorated and all accommodation is on the ground floor, including a spacious lounge/diner, fitted kitchen and three air-conditioned bedrooms. The swimming pool is to the rear of the house in mature gardens and overlooked by a very welcoming shaded, dining terrace, ideal for relaxing with a glass of something cold. Access to the pool is via a small gate on the terrace.

June 2018
We stayed for one week in June, and had a great time. This villa is close to the bus routes so we didn't hire a car. The photographs do not do it justice and maybe a little old, as it's been repainted since they were taken. It was much bigger inside than we expected and full of character. The grounds were well maintained by the owner. Although he came to attend to the grounds, and turn the sprinklers on, he was very discrete. The villa was very private, we had expected to hear the traffic from the main road but were pleasantly surprised that it was so quiet. The neighbours have a selection of animals that we could hear during the day, ducks, geese, cockerel, chickens, peacock(?) and dog. They were not bothersome, but nice to hear natural sounds and amusing at times. The pool was clean and just warming up when we were there. We would stay again, but have been pollensa twice so probably go somewhere else next time.
