We (a family of two adults and three children) had a lovely long weekend at Curlew Barn.. The barn is comfortable, cosy and has everything we needed. Henry, the owner, was a fantastic host - from being greeted with a bottle of wine when we arrived quite late on Friday to digging out a football for the kids to play in the field first thing Saturday - he was helpful and friendly and thoughtful. The only suggestion would be to more clearly describe the bedroom set up in the description on the website - but to be honest Henry clarified all that with one phone call. The area is lovely of course. We recommend The Merchants House in Longnor for a meal but Curlew Barn is a lovely peaceful base to enjoy a relaxed evening and very pretty surroundings.

A beautiful cottage with lovely features, it's really well stocked I'm terms of kitchen equipment - there was everything you needed and more.. Beautiful views and lovely hot tub. Very relaxing break away. The owner Henry was lovely too and took the time to show us how things worked in the cottage and about the local area.
