Just returned from a weekend break here and we enjoyed every minute! Sarah is a wonderful host and showed us around the area, and the cottage was so pretty and had everything we needed. Our dog loved the courtyard and the shared garden! Lovely peaceful location, listening to the birds whilst having a cold beer on the picnic bench. Highly recommend Can also recommend The Seabirds bar/restaurant in Flamborough which we visited whilst there but booking required.

We had a very relaxing holiday and Sarah the owner was brilliant on the day we arrived providing us with a bottle of milk and biscuits so we could have a cuppa straight away.. It was so peaceful with walks on our doorstep and our dog could roam free in the fields without worrying about traffic. All in all a lovely time away for us both which we would highly recommend.

Sarah was the perfect host, offering us a choice of biscuits and a Christmas Hamper when we arrived.. Regarding the cottage itself, it was what we expected, clean and well equipped. If I had any niggles it would be the lack of coat hooks in the entrance hall to hang wet coats on, the white plastic handled cutlery in the kitchen was in poor condition (eg: loose handles, signs of rust) and not enough hot water to take a bath. Other than that, a very pleasant place to stay.

Sarah was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us to make sure we enjoyed our stay.. We we’re only there for 2 nights and the weather was terrible it poured with rain constantly but we will definitely go back again next year for longer and during the summer

Would suggest that greater prominence is given to shared garden in the description.. Large party in the large cottage asked us what we were doing in “their” garden. A quick firm explanation set the confusion to rights. But nothing was going to stop us using such a lovely space. This is the only reason why we would hesitate to return.

This was a lovely little cottage in a beautifully quite position.. The cottage was well equipped with a very comfortable bed and complimentary milk and biscuits (usually new laid eggs but hens not laying through winter), access to a good selection of DVDs, books and games etc. Sarah the owner was a wonderful lady, she was there to meet me and couldn't do enough to make my stay brilliant. Had a small glitch with the heating one day and Sarah went out and purchased an electric blanket for me, couldn't ask for more than that. Would recommend this to anyone especially if you are looking for a quiet countryside break. Thank you Sarah for such a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful time at Cupids Cottage near Bridlington.. Our host Sarah was wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. We spent our wedding anniversary there and Sarah even brought flowers, card and a prezzie! The cottage was spotless and well equipped. It is ideal for visiting all the coastal resorts.2 miles from Bridlington, 3 from Flmaborough Head Nature Reserve, about 12 from Filey, a bit farther to Scarborough with Whitby abour forty miles away. On top of this there is a RSPB nature reserve near by at Bempton Cliffs. All well worth a visit. On top of this we had the "Best Fish and Chips", in the UK, (MAYBE THE WORLD) Yes, we will go again. It was so relaxing. Lovely beaches, nice people and nice places. Sarah also has other beautiful cottages and a very large wonderful farmhouse type building with five bedrooms to sleep eleven people, wood burner, huge living room, wonderful kitchen and really nice furniture. Great for a family get together. It was our first stay in this part of the UK AND WE LOVED IT.! Bernard and Elaine Cocker Chorley Lancs

Could not fault anything about the place.. A nice short walk across fields down past South Cliff caravan park to the beach and on the seafront to town or another way onto the countryside. I would recommend Bessingby Mews to anyone who wants a quiet place to stay but not too far from things to do.

Cosy dog friendly cottage.. Nice dog walks from outside the cottage. Over the fields to dog friendly beach. Secure garden for dog's to enjoy. Cottage ideal for 2. Only downside not much cupboard space to put any supplies in and sofa a bit low for anyone with joint problems. No wifi. Nice friendly owner who met us and explained everything we needed to know. Thanks for biscuits and Milk!. Enjoyed our stay. Friendly neighbours.

A wonderful warm welcome from the owner with a good introduction to everything available for us to use and helpful communication prior to arrival too.. Super cosy cottage and adequate space for the weeks stay. Close to local amenities in Bridlington. Off-road parking was useful although relied on other visitors parking considerately! Listing is accurate with the wi-fi availability, but this kept our holiday healthily technology-free, which was just what we were looking for / needing! Helpful local information leaflets, take-away menus and discounts for visitors shared as well as a great library of DVDs for those rainy nights cuddled up and cosy!

My father lives in a local care home and isn't very ambulant so we needed a place we could take him daily without stairs. The cottage was the ideal place even the layout of the place made it a great week for us. Sahra and Carol were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for them, they made the whole week a good experience for us all. We had most of our meals outside on the patio just outside the door n dad spent most of the afternoons snoozing in a cumfy chair. I will be looking to book again though after seeing the big house which sleeps 10+ I might just take the whole family including grand kids.

After being greeted at our lovely quaint cottage by the owner ,who was as excited as us , she showed us around the cottage and told us ,there was milk in the fridge and chocolate biscuits on the kitchen side which was a nice gesture. She did however stress that the wifi was not brilliant in the entire village , which didn't particularly bother us. So we then popped to the nearest supermarket up the main road to the first set of lights , turn right and a couple of hundred yards down the hill on right is Morrisons .we visited Flamborough head and it's cafe/restaurant which fab , watching seals and puffins . The next day we went to whitby and had a walk around the cobbled streets before having the best fish and chips ever.on the way back we came across a must visit farm shop with cafe near Scarborough called redcliffe farm shop , fantastic food to eat in or buy and take home . Thanks sarah and see you again soon jim & angela from barrow
