Crud yr Awel is a ground floor apartment situated in the village of Y Felinheli, five miles from Caernarfon. This apartment sleeps two people and has a king-size double bedroom, a shower room and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. The apartment also has off road parking for one car and a front enclosed patio with furniture. Crud yr Awel is a convenient base for a couple with plenty to see and do in the area.

The village of Y Felinheli is situated on the beautiful Menai Straits between the historic town of Caernarfon and the Cathederal city of Bangor. The village offers a yachting marina, a selection of pubs, restaurants, shops and a hotel, plus an award-winning 5 star restaurant is only two miles away.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Helpful owners, lovely and clean accommodation.. Comfy bed, hot shower. We took our own Firestick & Alexa which connected to the high quality internet connection. Freezer, washing machine & milk and welsh cakes on arrival. Its one of the best we have stayed in and hope to return. 5 Stars :-) Excellent location for touring Snowdonia & Anglesey and the views from the apartment are stunning.

This apartment is the perfect base for exploring Anglesey and Snowdonia.. Clean and comfortable, with all facilities you need indoors, and lots of local stores within a 10 minute drive. Plus you have the view over Menai Straits - couldn't ask for more. We enjoyed our holiday very much.

The property is situated overlooking the Menai Strait which is lovely and because it's west facing we enjoyed some beautiful sunsets.. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. The host family are very friendly and helpful. Easy access to Snowdonia and coastal sites. Parking is on site just beside the entrance. Access is up a narrow lane just 2 minutes from main road. A very good inn with restaurant is about 10 minutes walk down to the waterside. Slightly slower going back uphill but we are 78 & 80 year olds.

The owner Iwan was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble.. The apartment was first class with everything you needed. The view was outstanding . beautiful sunsets . Never growing tired of looking at them. we really hope to go back again. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. Also it is very centrally situated to visit so many places.

We were met by the owner who told us about the area and how devices in the apartment worked.. There was a lovely welcome package and a well stocked cupboard of useful cooking aids, oil ,salt pepper and herbs..Ideal for a couple, a good place to return to at the end of the day. Walk down to the village steep but a pleasant stroll to the marina.

The short walk to the shops pub etc is down a extremely steep slope,only for the extra fit .. The discription needs changing, this is the only fault we found with the holiday, the apartment is in a really wonderful spot ,superb views,great central location for lots of different things to do we had a. We stayed for a weekend and use the apartment as a base to explore the area by boat. (there is a great boatyard and slipway at the bottom of the hill). The owner was really helpful and the apartment was nice and warm when we arrived, with Welsh Cakes and lots of tea and coffee as well as milk in the fridge. It is well set out, plenty of space but still cosy inside. Very comfortable stay - thanks.

Everything you need is there for an enjoyable stay.. Warm, cosy, clean excellent shower and very roomy for two. The views are a bonus and the sunsets are exceptional. On a direct frequent bus route from the village to Bangor, Caernarfon and beyond. A brilliant stay.

From the moment to the moment we left, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crud Yr Awel. The welcome we received from the owner was very friendly and informative. The views from the terrace overlooking the Menai Strait and Anglesey were breathtaking. We were also able to enjoy superb sunsets. The apartment was very well equipped and included free wifi access. It is ideally located for exploring the local area. Anglesey, Caernarfon, Porthmadog and Snowdon are all within easy reach. We would definitely return for another stay. Haven't booked a 'cottage-rental' for a few years now. This turned up trumps, beautiful place & lovely location with one hiccup - get used to hill climbs if you are driving. It's bit of an up & down journey. Made it quite memorable, but would dread it in bad weather conditions. The apartment is quite spacious & well fitted out. There shouldn't be anything else you need. The seating on terrace is a little gem, was above the Menai Strait, albeit can be blustery. Great place to tour especially Anglesey - would recommend it. Owner is wonderful & left a great starter pack for us. Thanks for memorable holiday
