The cottage was light and airy with a very beachy theme.. The decor was very interesting and all around the cottage there was something to find to look at. Extremely comfortable stay, lots of space for a big family and everything you need to cook for yourselves. Will definitely stay again x

Great location in this lovely village.. The shop was a little noisy with deliveries early in the morning and parking was a little tricky with the locked space a short walk away. Lots of great walks nearby and stunning scenery.

The cottage was warm cosy clean and comfortable.. The weather was cold and wet but the cottage provided ample shelter and warmth and we spent time reading and watching bad TV. The only downside was external, the front bed room could be noisy so we got woken early, with buses trucks and bin lorries clattering and beeping. For heavier sleepers I am sure that would not be a problem! Overall we had a lovely few days

My Partner and I have thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Craft Cottage. It’s a beautiful grade 2 listed property, cosy and well equipped. We found Beer a delightful and friendly village with much to offer. The beach is a four minute walk and accessible coastal walks can be found from here. The area is close to Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, Colyton and many other places of interest. We highly recommend this cottage and will retain forever happy memories of our relaxing break.

Craft Cottage is a wonderful place to spend a holiday.. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from the spectacular beach, pubs, cafes and shops. The owners have thought of everything when kitting the place out and we were left wanting for nothing. The garden was safe for our dog who is a well practised escape artist, and we were lucky to be able to sit out in the evenings making full use of the patio furniture. Great cottage in a fabulous location.

We had a fabulous holiday in this "home-from-home" cottage.. It was very comfortable, lovely beds and lots of little touches to make a family holiday special. Beer is a village of real character and we will definitely return - we are missing our walks on the beach already.

We had a lovely holiday in Beer.. Craft Cottage is in the village itself so it is an easy walk to the local shops, pubs, restaurants and beach. When we looked at the parking in the details before our holiday we thought it might be a bit of a pain having to walk down the road and unlock the gate every time, but it was easy to do and caused no problems. It was out of season, therefore the shops/restaurants were open for shorter hours or less days, but we didn't find this to be a problem. Because it was out of season, it was lovely and quiet. Everyone parks outside Craft cottage to visit the Village Store, which would be more annoying in high season as it would be busier. It is quite noisy outside in the mornings with deliveries to the shop and the school buses reversing into the bus stop. The cottage is very comfortable and had everything we needed. We weren't able to get the gas fire to light while we were there which was a little bit disappointing. There is central heating also which we were thankful for. We have a small dog who isn't able to walk very far. This meant that to reach any level grass for him to use for toileting, we had to go up to the cliff top car park. However, there are lovely views from up on the cliff so although it was a bit of a palaver, it was worth it! We would definitely visit again.

The only downside was that despite the double yellow lines outside the cottage, people regularly parked there to pop into the local shop.. We regularly had cars, lorries and vans pull up outside which compromised privacy and blocked the light into the front room.

We loved Craft Cottage - very comfortable beds, beautifully decorated & brilliantly well equipped accommodation.. We love cooking and ate in each evening (well, we sat outside to eat) although petite, the kitchen has everything you need. The only niggle was that there is no parking at the Cottage - the allocated space is down the road a little way, through a very narrow road, and visitors had to use the public car park (also quite near, but in the height of summer, sometimes full!) The Cottage is extremely thoughtfully resourced - the best collection of books and dvds we’ve seen! The outside furniture is very comfortable (blankets even provided so you can sit out all evening, when it gets chilly!) We would all highly recommend Craft Cottage (and Beer) for a lovely family holiday. Thank you.
