Extremely good communication with hosts with clear instruction for access to the house.. Quiet street but very close to shops, buses and other amenities. Very clean house throughout and well provided facilities in the kitchen and throughout the house. Also nice and warm. All the people in Fishguard were very friendly indeed. The house was ideally placed to explore the coastline and the coastal paths. I highly recommend this house to stay for holidays.

The house and the location was everything we had hoped for .. We will definately recommend to friends and hope to return before long . The payment system was far better than paying all the money up front so far ahead that other companies demand.

Llys-y-Gan is perfectly located a few minutes walk from the town centre, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets etc, but also close to the sea and the coast path.. Parking was never a problem even though it is Main Street. The owner(s) were very friendly and welcoming and it was nice to have tea, coffee, fresh milk and Welsh cakes awaiting out arrival. The neighbours and locals were all friendly and the whole area has a feel of being on holiday, luckily we had great weather. The house is a good size and it is a bonus to have a main lounge and an additional ‘music’ room (or quiet room!). We used the house as a base for both fishing and cycling as well as playing/practising music and of course enjoying the fine local establishments. The rear garden catches the sun until mid evening and it was so nice to sit outside and relax after a day’s cycling. I would highly recommend Llys-y-Gan to anyone wishing to explore the area or even for enjoying a relaxing break.

Our holiday cottage was warm and spacious.. There was only two of us but it would accommodate 6. It was a perfect position for the town, pubs, theatre and particularly for the coastal path. Views from the latter are wonderful.

We noticed on arrival how spotlessly clean and comfortable the house was.. It is situated in a quiet one way avenue, so very little passing traffic and we managed to park right outside every time we returned each day. The owners had left us a pack of provisions to get us started and even called round the next day to see if everything was ok - a really nice touch! Fishguard is a small fairly quiet town (we were off season, so expected really), that is situated on the stunning Pembrokeshire coastal path - in fact within 2 minutes from the property, we were enjoying these spectacular views. The location is excellent for exploring the coastline (places like Mwnt Beach and Poppit Sands are not to be missed!). Further afield there is picturesque Tenby with a much recommended boat trip to Caldey Island. All in all we had an excellent holiday and would highly recommend this property and it’s location.

This was a wonderful family home in which to spend a very enjoyable week exploring the Pembrokeshire Coastline.. There are sea views from the bedrooms and Fishguard is a very friendly place which we will certainly hope to visit again, perhaps we may get better weather!!! but even the rain didn't really spoil our holiday, however I would like to visit Haverfordwest again without the deluge but can recommend The Welsh Bakery for a very good lunch.

Me and my family had the best holiday in the UK. Every year we go abroad but this time we thought of somewhere local. We made the right decision because the property was a delight, very clean and the view was amazing. Fishguard is a small town with lots of lovely people, who were very friendly and always helpful. The owner and her sister were very nice too. I will definitely recommend this beautiful cottage to my friends and everyone. I am in love with Fishguard, we will definitely return.

The property was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was brilliant with lots of walks overlooking the rugged coastline. It was a short stroll away from the town centre so very conveniently situated for amenities such as shops, banks and pubs. It was one of the best properties that we have stayed in and we can highly recommend it to others.

The house was situated within a very short walk to the local facilities and lovely walks to the old town/marina although they are very steep paths/steps. The street was very quiet, the house is lovely and the owners had kindly left a 'welcome pack' with some delicious Welsh cakes. The general area is beautiful and we were lucky to have glorious weather for the most part of our stay.

Well located above Fishguard harbour (You can just see the sea from upstairs!) Very clean and well presented. Made welcome on arrival and all details explained. We were there in winter so were very pleased with the central heating. Two living rooms - useful with a family. Short walk to local shops. Parking outside the house. No problem. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
