Miss Goodinson, November 2019
I really enjoyed my stay at Seadrift Cottage and I was warmly welcomed by Liz who gave me some information about the cottage, the area and the local facilities.. With that huge picture window in the front room affording the sweeping view over the bay, it provides an opportunity to watch the Black Guillemots and Skuas wheelling and diving above the sea directly in front of the cottage.
Everything you think you'll need is provided in the cottage and the internet speed is fast and consistent.
Bring your Firestick TV dongle etc and you'll be sorted for evening entertainment.
It's ideally placed to visit some fantastic scenery on the island and you won't be disappointed.
Make sure you bring a camera of some kind, as you'll most certainly want to document your visit.
There's a really well stocked shop a short distance south and what surprised me was that the fuel cost to fill up my car on the island was only a few pennies per litre more than I pay at home.
Every corner you go round in your car will give you another wonderful view and I defy anyone to go away from the island without feeling relaxed and having a huge grin on their face.
I visit Scotland on a regular basis and I have to say that Skye has become my new favourite, I hope to return as regularly as possible.
