Lovely quaint cottage, very clean and cosy.. Everything we needed was there and our dog was welcome. The village if Wangford was lovely and very interesting with lovely old buildings. Southwold is our happy place!

Generally speaking the cottage met all our expectations regards comfort ,facilities and amenities, but the absencse of a garden area made things a little difficult with the cottage being dog friendly..

This is the only cottage where we have encountered having to buy toilet rolls, apparently because it is self catering only one is supplied.. The fridge does not have a freezer compartment.

The cottage was as described in a small village in Suffolk it had ample facilities, good cooking facilities including microwave and washing machine good television and DVD player and the lounge was very comfortable with dining table the bedrooms were also good the largest bedroom was more spacious than expected.. Even though the village is very quiet the village store seems to stock everything and was open at 7 am in the morning and the Angel Inn just across the road was very handy for a quick cool drink as it was a very hot week, they serve very good meals i believe but we didnt try any, also its location is ideal being just 2 minutes of the main A 12 road so access to the broads and Great Yarmouth is quite easy, we would not hesitate to use this cottage again should we wish to visit this area again,an enjoyable stay, also arranging access to the cottage was trouble free has a key lock box is by the front door.

When we arrived at the cottage it looked very nice & tidy, situated in a tranquil village, but it was like stepping back in time, the cottage had a foisty smell and the bedding was clean but the pillows were stained and a brown colour, the real downfall was no Internet/wifi and the television was temperamental as it worked then it would go off.. However as we were out everyday it was a base in the evenings, no garden was a little problem too as it would have been nice in the evenings! ( & we was aware of this from online) All in all the cottage was satisfactory but there was nothing else in the village, The Angel Inn across the road was shut down, and the little shop in the village was very expensive!

It was a lovely old building with beams but somewhat small.. It is what it is and a good effort was made to modernise it. A beautiful old church was next door and the village of Wangford was full of interesting old buildings easily accessed on the internet. Everything was provided for our comfort but it would have been nice to have a broom for the floor and scouring sponge for any stubborn tea stains left on the mugs after use. Ideally situated for the coast between Southwold, Lowestoft and Felixstowe and we enjoyed exploring the area.

The advertisement material indicated a pub providing food opposite the property but this had been closed several weeks

The cottage is in a lovely location, very handy for Southwold.. The cottage was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The bedding, towels and tea towels very all very clean and smelled lovely. I spoke to the caretaker of the cottage as I had been given the wrong code for the key safe. She was very helpful.

We would certainly go again, if we go to Suffolk. Although it was without a garden, it was so handy for the Angel Hotel, which was only across the road in the lovely friendly little village. We had three lovely evening meals there, the innkeeper and his wife were like old friends. Another good holiday.

We really enjoyed our Christmas break at Corner Cottage -- and we were delighted with all the little extras provided, such as Christmas crackers, fizzy wine and biscuits. The cottage is compact and quirky but was cosy and warm and homely and ideal for our party of three. It was convenient for visits to towns such as Southwold, Aldeburgh, Bungay and Beccles and for various nature reserves. The village store, two minutes away, had an amazing range of goods for sale. But the pub across the road was a disappointment, with the regular customers seeming to resent visitors.

Charming peaceful cottage with churchyard behind, ideally located for travelling into Southwold. Pub literally across the road which happened to have a beer festival on. Excellent local shop in village. Pity there was no outside space/garden facility with the cottage. Otherwise a thoroughly memorable stay.

Cottage was in a lovely village.. Great location, near to lots of places. Shop in Wangford well stocked & pub directly across the road welcomed children. No noise from pub late at night which was great. Cottage had a lot of nice touches to make it feel homely. Really enjoyed staying there. Owner has obviously put a lot of thought in to amenities. Really good.

I think I submitted a review immediately after our visit! Our experience was very positive. The cottage was fine, with a few reservations - the fridge lacks a freezer section & the bottom shelf is missing, it was difficult to get good light to read in a comfy chair, & the lack of any garden would be an issue in the summer. Beyond, the pub opposite serves perfectly good grub, the village shop is useful, & the whole coastal area is lovely.

Clean and well-equipped cottage, very comfortable for a couple and maybe two small children. Kitchen rather cramped and no freezer box in fridge. No garden, cottage entrance direct from quiet village road . Good general store in village but village pub food mediocre quality. Location handy for the coast and many pretty villages, bird sanctuary etc.
