Great holiday was had by all! The host Michelle couldn’t have been nicer, she met us on our first day and came to say goodbye as we were leaving. The property was opposite a beautiful Loch and Michelle gave us free and unlimited access to a rowing boat which made it a real adventure for our 2 grandsons, we would definately stay again.

It was a delight to stay in this beautiful property for 3 nights.. Absolute bliss! If you want space and peace, this is the place to be. Big spacious house with big rooms. Everything you need. The hostess Michelle could not have made us feel more welcome. She turned the lights on, turned the heating on for us after our 7 hour journey. Kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything. Even came to say goodbye!

We found it an ideal position for touring The Highlands as it wasn't far from the main roads but in a very quiet location and easily accessed.. Lots of interesting wildlife to be found close by. The owners were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Locally we enjoyed visiting Strathpeffer and especially sampling the food from The Deli on The Square.

Since 1990 we have had 16 holidays in Scotland before the latest in Achilty and consider that our stay at Cobblestones was without doubt the best of them all.. Very well furnished and equipped in delightful surroundings beside the loch and only a couple of minutes drive from the A835 for ease of touring the Highlands and Northern Scotland.

Michelle, the owner was very friendly and helpful, even allowing us to use her garage for repairs to our bikes.. The cottage itself was picturesque, quiet and peaceful and had everything that we needed. We would highly recommend this cottage to everyone. Thank you Michelle for making our holiday fantastic. WIFI was also included in the house.

A lovely property in a wonderful area.. Amazing view of the loch from the balcony, Visited by the ducks from the loch at least twice a day. Bring dog treats if you want regular visits from Toby a lovely Cocker Spaniel! The bird feeder was visited by numerous varieties of birds. Easy to get to all areas of the Highlands due to local roads being the main routes across the highlands, but far enough away not to be seen or heard from the property, also try the minor road around the loch and over the dam. Helpful and knowledgeable owner. A good property for either a family or friends as plenty space. Highly recommended

The lodge was exactly what we were looking for peaceful and surroundings well kept. Plenty parking. The use of the owners small rowing boat to use on the Loch which was footsteps away from the lodge. The location enabled us to visit surrounding places of interest with ease. The lodge was equipped with WiFi so enabled us to keep in touch with elderly family.
