The house and grounds were excellent, a couple of niggles, bi folding doors did not close correctly and the shower control in the ground floor bedroom did not seem to operate between hot and cold.. Other than the above the house was well equipped and comfortable. We found it very clean and Alison was very helpful as was her husband. Thanks for a great few days away.

Great house for a large group gathering, from grandparents to grandchildren we had great time.. You do need transport but it provides a good base to get out each day, We visited Snowdonia, Llandudnao, Anglesey beaches and had plenty of internal and external space to play at the house. A knife sharpener would have been useful, we managed without though.

The hot water system requires bleeding, there was loud noises from the pipes whenever we turned on the hot water tap.. In the children’s west facing rooms the blinds need to be darker. Other than these minor irritations the house was fine. I would give it 9.5 out of 10 and would return.

This is a beautiful house and we really enjoyed our stay and we had wonderful weather You really do need to have a car as the house is quite remote but that is also the charm of the place.. The beach was about 3 miles away My family and I stayed there for an Easter break and to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday My mum is disabled so the down stairs bedroom was an asset however the main lounge was upstairs so she struggled on the first night to get up there so we all just stayed downstairs in the kitchen, games room, snug and garden, for most nights which was very comfortable with comfy chairs We couldn’t find any sharp knives for cutting bread and the roast or utensils e.g ladle, spatcheler for eggs but we managed and it wasn’t really a deal breaker The beds were comfortable and the house was immaculate The owners allowed us to hire a hot tub too which was fab I would definitely recommend The Chapel House it’s an amazing house in a quaint little village The owners were down for the weekend too and were next door in the old school house. they were so lovely and helpful but didn’t encroach on our stay The table tennis was loads of fun and a great asset to the house There are 4 bathrooms in the house so never struggled in that department Overall a fantastic holiday away in the countryside with beaches and restaurants close by

The property was as described and just as expected .. The kitchen was great and provide a space for everyone to meet , eat and chat, as many did different things during the day. The property was well designed and had some great views . If you like a rural location, lots of space and access to some great beaches by car -this fits the bill. Contact with the owners was easy as we communicated by e-mail before and after.I suggest you enjoy this property for a family gathering and a place to meet with friends. The upper floor lounge is great for chilling with a glass of wine and looking out from the balcony.

We wanted a place that would accommodate us for a family birthday gathering and this was spot on from start to finish. Information from the owners was clear and easy to follow and they responded quickly to any questions we had. The setting is beautiful in a little hamlet surrounded by countryside. The house is well designed for a large group of people and is light and modern but having kept some of the original chapel features. With slate floors throughout downstairs the large kitchen with games room off it became the hub for the weekend. Well equipped kitchen with everything to hand made catering for the group really easy. There is a large lounge upstairs with log burner and fabulous views for time out and peace. Every bedroom is a good size and the beds really comfortable. The house was so good that we didn’t leave often but a short car journey will get you to some of the most beautiful beaches and mountains in the country. I would recommend this place - enjoy!

The holiday cottage was absolutely perfect.. It was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. The location was gorgeous. The photos on the website do not do the place justice. It was ideal for our large family gathering. And perfect for our dogs. It is a credit to the owners and people whom look after the cottage. Would have no hestication in recommending this cottage to anyone. We had a lovely break making lots of family memories

We had a fabulous holiday and the cottage was amazing, extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean.. Location wise there was not a lot within walking distance but most places accessible within 30 minutes drive and it did not affect our stay. My only constructive feedback would be that as there were 12 adults in the cottage, there were not enough seats round the dining table (only sat 10 ) and in the lounge it could have done with another sofa as we had to bring chairs in from the bedrooms. There were plenty of sofas in the games room so would suggest moving one of them upstairs to the lounge. Other than that we had a fabulous weekend and would love to return.

Chapel House is amazing, we visited with friends, children and grandchildren.. The house is spacious, extremely well appointed with a fab garden area. The grandchildren loved seeing the sheep and cows each morning. The bi fold doors from the kitchen dining area to the patio are a really good feature opening up the house to the outdoors Would definitely visit again

House was exactly as described.. It is in a villge but is remote - which was what we expected. You need a car get around but there is plenty of off road parking. More than enough pubs/takeaways within 2.5 to 5 miles. Plenty of space for a big group. Really liked the house.

All superb, spoke to telephone staff to change card details - very pleasant and professional Chapel house was lovely, all very new.. We had a lovely time in a great location and a fantastic property. if you could pass comments to the owners the property would benefit from - mirror in bedroom - hob 'simplification'!

The cottage was very well equipped and quite comfortable but as the internet is not really any good, some essential local telephone numbers would have been helpful.. Also a few matts on the floor down stairs would have been nice.

This property was beautiful and exceeded all expectations.. The photographs don't do it justice! It is only a short drive from Holyhead and Treaddur Bay so great for trips out. The owners were very accommodating. The only thing I would say which is NOT a criticism is that it would have been nice to know about the building works next door as the builders were parked on the property car park when we arrived but this did not bother us. Chapel House provided everything we needed and more for a very special stay.

The house is absolutely immaculate and beautiful, it exceeded all expectations. We liked the quiet location on the edge of the very small village and away from the busier coastal areas. It was easy to reach Church Bay, 10 minutes by car. We had everything we could possibly need.

We were in a location away from the hustle and bustle and the rural location meant that we could absorb and appreciate the countryside and wild life that much better. In the evenings we fully embraced the feeling of being in an isolated quiet location and stayed at the cottage instead of going out, by doing this we fully enjoyed a family get together in talking, drinking and playing games together. An excellent stay and whilst all of our party was over 21 years except for 1 x child everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
