Lovely house.. Good location. Great for a family celebration. Fab time was had by all. Kept up to date on arrival/departure details by very friendly owner. Cant fault anything.
We had a lovely time, the house has lots of space and a evocative air of faded grandeur! We did have a little trouble with one of the toilets and the fan oven was not very reliable.

Beautiful house with lots of character.. Plenty of space. All beds nice and comfy. Lovely little touches left for us on arrival by the owners. We had a lovely family weekend and would love to come back.

Lovely old house with loads of character.. Perfect for our family weekend away. The house is in a great position for exploring the Wye Valley & surrounding area.
All members of our party agreed that this house gains attractiveness, the longer you stay, so we were really glad to have opted for booking the whole week, although some of us had to leave earlier on account of work and other prior commitments.. There were a number of minor maintenance issues, which however we reported directly to the owner, whom we met as we were preparing to leave on our last morning.
He assured us these would be attended to.
Great location and the house great for an extended family get together - we enjoyed every minute..
Owners were extremely helpful, very nice and kind
Owners very friendly, helpful and accommodating.. Lovely old comfortable house full of character, suited our party of 16 and dog!
Fantastic house.. Ideal for a large group get together. Plenty of places to visit as it is in an ideal position.
We enjoyed our stay at Cedars House.. It was very comfortable and clean, and it's well positioned for some of us who liked walking and climbing at Symonds Yat. Lots of places to visit and have days out. l loved shopping at Ross on Wye, it's a really nice place.
My only concern was the large amount of crockery and ornaments which were for display purposes only, on ledges and the dressers. I found it to be a large responsibility and had to put some items out of the way for my own peace of mind. My party consisted of tall adults, it would have been so easy for any one them to have inadvertently knocked something off with their elbows when standing near the dressers. Apart from that we had a really good time in all
