Peaceful quiet and tranquil great to relaxing highly recommend
Mr Hogg, September 2020
No wi fi, it did not work and mobile signal was poor
Mr Logan, September 2020
Really good base in excellent condition.. The one thing I would recommend is that there be more steps down to the ground From the main decking area as currently it’s too deep and quite an ask for someone elderly or with weak knees.
Mr Key, July 2020r
Had a lovely stay at Cedar Lodge.. Set in a beautiful location with numerous walks on your doorstep but a car journey away to a shop. Well appointed accommodation but worth noting some large steps up onto decking to get inside. This caused some difficulty to our 87 year old grandmother.
Upon arrival our impression was the place was clean however once we started unpacking became obvious it was clean on the areas on show bit needs a deep clean ... Blinds, skirtings, radiators grubby. Poor water pressure in bath shower on first day but this was due to lime scale blocking the shower head. We sorted this and it improved dramatically.
Having said that, the location and quality of the facilities would mean we would return again.

The lodge was everything we hoped it would be .. The park was extremely peaceful just what you need if you want a relaxing and restful holiday Plenty of room to take a dog for a walk without having to drive somewhere .Some of the beaches along the coast were quite deserted and local National Trust properties were very good for walking in the grounds. We had a very good holiday and came home with our batteries recharged .
Mrs Watkins, September 2019
My husband and I and our two boys had a great time staying at Cedar Lodge.. The location is ideal if you are looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing. A beautiful lodge with every amenity you could possibly need inside. (Except phone signal or WiFi which was very intermittent!)
It was spotlessly clean with beautiful interior decor. There are also lovely outdoor areas to sit and play, including a woodland area at the back which our boys had lots of fun playing in. We have had a great week and would definitely recommend.
Mrs Grant, August 2019
Lovely lodge, very clean and well equipped.. Comfortable beds and felt spacious. Peaceful location away from it all but a great base for exploring North Norfolk. We had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay thank you. WiFi didn’t work for us when we were there and had very patchy reception on our phones (O2), but this didn’t bother us really but just to make others aware if this could be an issue for them. We’d definitely return again to Cedar Lodge.
Mrs Essex, August 2019
Lovely lodge in quiet relaxing location on a well maintained park
Mr Ashley, July 2019
The telephone number for the contact is not correct.. The lady had given up looking after the chalet the week before but i had to bother her to find out the new people. They were very helpful when we had a problem. In the past when we have used Skyes cottages there has always been stuff ready for our arrival so we could make a drink before going out to get the shopping. Unfortunately this was not the case here and we didn't have room to bring things with us. The accommodation was excellent and in a very quiet setting ideal for my father who has dementia.
Mrs Guest, June 2019
If you only want to go and total relax this is a ideal place to go.. Also if you are willing to travel to different places it is ideal. No real local pubs only a coop shop about 3 mile .don't mind to relax but no entertainment if you want it close to hand
Beautiful lodge in beautiful tranquil surroundings.. Fabulous walks for our dog. Day trips to Wells-next-the-Sea, Wroxham and a trip on the miniature steam train at Aylsham made our holiday. Will definitely be revisiting.
The lodge was in a lovely quiet location with scenic local walks.. It was furnished to a high standard and had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing stay.
We had a really lovely holiday and enjoyed every moment.. Accommodation was fab and as areas surrounding it. Unfortunately
, we left two phone chargers in the kitchen, having left urgently due to family illness. We didn't realise for a few days. However, nobody contacted us, saying they had been found. Due our family situation, we didn't make contact but would have hoped somebody would have contacted us to say they had been found.
Great place to stay .Great location. peaceful until the wife talks. Plenty of wildlife rabbits , deer,
Big park . Also two big fishing lakes. And dog friendly beaches.
Lovely, well equipped lodge in beautiful, peaaceful surroundings.. Great for exploring North Norfolk. Would absolutley recommend. The only thing that failed to meet my expectations was the Wi-Fi which was extremely temperamental. A blessing on the one hand as it prevented uneccesary scrolling, but probably shouldnt be advertised as a feature of the property.
Love the fishing
Lodge was fantastic, only thing I would say was listed as a private enclosed garden but we couldn't let our 18month out on own as it wasn't fully enclosed, unfortunately we had to come home half way through due to my dad passing away..
The lodge was stunning far exceeded my expectations.. The week was wonderful on the site the forest had some lovely walks and came home refreshed and very happy.
Lovely park setting with a multitude of wildlife literally on the doorstep.. Excellent walks in extensive ground's,large lakes, fish, herons, and the largest host of dragon flies in the woods I have ever seen.
Friendly neighbours. Excellent restaurants a driveable distance, also tourist attractions and the underrated North Norfolk beaches. A site that satisfies all age groups and interests.
WiFi works well, which is good as no mobile signal on park.
Wonderful Lodge in a very peaceful and tranquil position, clean with everything you would need, for a lovely relaxing holiday.. Lovely Countryside Dog walks on the doorstep.
Fishing on site if you like too.
Not far from places to visit The Norfolk Broads and Sandringham for example.
Fabulous lodge on a quiet and peaceful site.. The lodge was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you needed for a relaxing holiday.Plenty of walks from the door. The only downside was the lack of mobile phone signal!
Excellent holiday, peaceful, accommodation beautiful the private garden fantastic for the dog.. The weather was very kind too.
Very quiet and peaceful location and very well kept grounds.. large lake no longer fish able but small lake fish able on light tackle. lovely walks and scenery.
Had an enjoyable week, holiday lodge was lovely, quiet location.. An ideal location for walkers, beaches within half an hour away.
Just pure luxury in the most beautiful tranquil place
The location of Cedar Lodge was so tranquil with lots of different wildlife running around , so peaceful , just what we wanted after a hectic year. It was within easy reach of places we wanted to visit, although you need a car.

The site was lovely, and so was the lodge. Plenty of places close by to visit. All round a very good holiday.
The lodge was beautifully comfortable, the bedrooms lovely (especially the beds themselves), the park peaceful and relaxing and the people very friendly. The area was great with amenities close by. We are thinking of returning next year, and will definitely be using Sykes again. It was the best holiday I have had in years!

We loved the location of the property, the peace and tranquillity of the park. We felt that the grandchildren could explore without us worrying about any harm coming to them. The open green area was wonderful for all the outdoor games we played.
