Although there’s not much here in terms of personality, Casa Blanca has been recently renovated and boasts brand new amenities and appliances, making it a bright, fresh, and comfortable home (we especially like the high ceilings). The best part about it, however, is its location in the neighbourhood of Chueca, one of Madrid’s most vibrant areas. Famed for its Gay Pride celebrations in June and July, this area is bustling with trendy bars and restaurants that stay open almost all night.
Home truths: *Guest three and four will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room
*Although there is an elevator, it is not possible to get to the apartment without climbing a few steps
*When we visited the Wi-Fi was extremely slow (only 2mbps)
*There is a washing machine in this home, but the lack of a dryer means guests will have to hang their laundry on a drying rack
