Perfect for relaxing.. We were 2 families with 4 early 20 year old ‘children’. The house was fabulous in size allowing everyone to have their own space when needed. The kitchen had everything and more that was required, plenty of towels and tea towels. It had 2 fridges, one was under-counter, the other a fridge/freezer. There is another small fridge out in the garage. The cooker is an ‘aga’ style. All bedrooms had either twin or double beds. Two of them - one upstairs and one downstairs have en-suites. The lounge is very comfortable with a tv that has Netflix, and a cd/radio player too. The views are amazing and it is so peaceful yet 5 minutes sees you on the N70, the main road to e.g. Killarney one way or Kenmare the other. Wish I had been able to stay longer.

The house was excellent, very well equipped for a family stay.. It was just a little dusty and the WiFi code was not listed, we got it from the caretaker. Eileen

This vacation home was the best home away from home! We had a group of 9 and loved every minute of our Ireland vacation! Would love to do it again!!!

Carraig Oisin ist located perfectly if you want to wind down. It has everything you need to make you feel comfortable and at home: the gas stove was especially awesome and the spacious house and garden with a terrace will give you the option to gather or to stay alone for a while. Waterville is just a 10 minutes drive away and you'll get the greatest fish'n'chips at The Lobster. Fiona Walsh is a great caretaker and will do anything to make your stay even more relaxing. Perfect vacation.

My wife and I just spent a week at this fantastic property. It is spacious, well equipped and has breathtaking views of Ballinskelligs Bay and the surrounding mountains. It is just three miles from the delightful village of Waterville and a ten minute walk from the shore with its fantastic views out to the mysterious Skellig Islands, which apparently were used as a location in Star Wars. I wouldn't know, but to me they have the mysterious look of a land which time forgot. The location is perfect for exploring the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Skellig. There are interesting places to visit and scenery and vistas unrivalled anywhere. After a long day exploring this golden corner of Ireland, watch the sunset from the shore as the Celtic Sea rolls in over the rocky beach or dine by candlelight in the kitchen diner of Carraig Oisin and look out over the bay to the grey, misty mountains beyond and get lost in the wonder of it...

I am in the travel industry and have traveled a lot in Europe.. The house was very spacious with amazing views - one of the best we've experienced in all of Europe. The only main issue we had was finding it when we first arrived. Directions weren't as clear as they could be. The beds were on the small side (which is what we've encountered everywhere else in Ireland) but we had a comfortable stay. The owner and local housekeeper were quick to respond to our calls and texts. We enjoyed our stay here and were sad to leave! Hope to be back some day.

Everything was perfect! I'm not sure why is it listed for 8 adults only as it would be perfectly fine for 10 (there are 10 comfortable beds: 8 double beds, 2 twin of a regular size) or even 12 if needed (two large comfortable couches). But there could be slightly bigger table in the dinning area with more chairs. We loved it, nothing is missing there, communication with the owner was nice and easy, the place is just amazing. I would recommand Carraig Oisin to my best friends!

The house was very spacious, well-equipped and comfortable for us. The two bedrooms upstairs were a good distance apart so that the babies didn't wake each other if they cried. The roads around the house were quiet for walking with the pushchair.
