Recently returned from 4 nights at the amazing Cambrian House. The house is a perfect base for families wishing to enjoy the Lyn Peninsula, it is in a fantastic central location in the centre of Criccieth, just a 2 minute walk from the local shops, beach and castle. The house is fantastically furnished and all rooms are perfectly laid out. The kitchen and lounge area is the perfect place to sit and chat and prepare meals and if the weather is good then the decking and BBQ area are perfect to enjoy the evening sunshine as we did on most evenings. I can not recommend this property highly enough for location, facilities and cleanliness.

I can't say enough how perfect Cambrian House was for my husband and our friends to stay. The property has been finished to an excellent standard, the quality of everything down to the bedding and all the utensils and dishes in the cupboard was brilliant! Its not often you get to stay at a property that looks better in person than the pictures! The hosts are lovely too, providing a great service throughout the booking. The property was so clean too from top to bottom, which was especially important to us at the moment. I would definitely recommend for a few days or a week away!

Our 4-generation family of 9 stayed in Cambrian House for a week, 26th July-2nd August 2019. Our week in Criccieth was absolutely perfect, and Cambrian House was the perfect place to stay. Situated a couple of minute's walk from the beach, this 6 bedroom house has been recently renovated and is absolutely immaculate. Everything was brand new, we wanted for nothing during our stay from the well-supplied kitchen. The rooms were all light, airy and very comfortable, our week absolutely flew by! We loved the BBQ deck at the rear of the property, and our kids loved having the train line over the road to wave at the train drivers (who obligingly honked the horn whenever they saw the kids!). There is free high speed WiFi and Sky TV (with Sky Sports) to keep everyone entertained, as well as a games room with pool table. Criccieth is a small town, situated a few miles between Porthmadog and Pwllheli - all the shops you need are in one of the two towns, with little quaint shops available in Criccieth itself if you need them. For a meal in the town, we recommend Dylan's (but book in advance), and the town's pubs (Bryn Hir, Prince Charles and The Castle) cater for all of the drinking tastes you may have. Having got back home yesterday, today we booked to go back in Summer 2020 - it's *that* good!
