The cottage is generally clean and comfortable and the owners helpful.. Kitchen well stocked with utensils etc and a very useful welcome basket kindly left for us. The only reason it didn’t score top marks was that the mattresses were very uncomfortable, particularly the one in the back bedroom. Take your own mattress topper and you won’t go wrong.

The cottage is in the grounds of a farm, which is very tranquil with birds, sheep and horses surrounding the cottage.. The cottage is pretty and has all the amenities, I loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.. The location itself is beautiful, set on the farm and being able to walk around with the children to see the animals in the fields was just lovely. The views for miles were gorgeous. Thankfully we had some lovely warm evenings and were able to sit outside to eat and enjoy the scenery. The cottage itself was very homely and spacious for a family of 4. Very nicely decorated and the bedrooms were perfect and a good size. The location is perfect distance from beaches, many tourist attractions and lots of countryside walks. The only slight niggles we have are that the sky light in one of the bedrooms did not have a blind which made the room very bright and difficult for the children to sleep and woke very early. The window was far too high to attach a travel blind. The sofas were also quite uncomfortable and the WiFi was very intermittent. Communication with the owners via the mobile number in the welcome book was poor as we texted for a fresh bed sheet due to one of us becoming ill, and had no response. The store room could also do with an update as the Children’s games were incomplete and the tumble dryer hard to get to due to too much in its way. Like I said these were only slight niggles for us as we loved our stay here and will definitely consider returning. It’s an ideal place to rent all 4 cottages for large family gatherings which is what we would consider next. We had a brilliant time, thank you!

Lovely conversion on a working farm, very comfortable and well appointed.. Nice welcome pack and friendly owners. Ideal for exploring North Wales.

We would have liked to have had better hanging space in the bedroom without the wardrobe; a shelf in the shower to put shampoo bottles etc.. ; a plug socket by the mirror so that I could dry my hair; a proper chopping board; some sharp knives or a knife sharpener; a mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable; a small side table by the front door - or a shelf - for keys, etc.. we liked the peace and quiet and the property in general. The heating was efficient and good as were the showers

The accommodation was excellent and all as described.. Great location for touring North Wales. The only minus was a lack of communication from the owner after we left a mobile voicemail message, regarding a minor problem, left on our arrival day, to which we received no response at all.

If you are over 6ft the beams might be a problem.. Otherwise a very enjoyable experience, with the plus of a warm welcome from Mrs Jones.Property found easily, but access road a bit confined.

Cottage was not initially very easy to find, but that was actually part of the excitement.. At the centre of a farm, which was interesting, but there was not a constant parade of cows past the house, which is something we have experienced elsewhere. The cottage had been converted and fitted out to a very high standard indeed, which was impressive.

Our stay was fantastic, from the lovely touch of a welcome basket filled with local goods (and an Easter bunny) to being surrounded by beautiful countryside.. We would highly recommend the cottage to anyone holidaying in North Wales!
