What a fantastic place to stay.. The cottage was just perfect and would thoroughly recommend it for able body people..The cottage was in the center of Betws-Y-Coed and had a cafe which served lovely breakfast and lunches next door. A very comfortable cottage . And will come again soon.

Wow. What a fantastic surprise and hidden gem.. The photo's didn't do justice to this large multi level cottage. The bedrooms face onto the road and a folliaged view of the river. Double glazing keeps the outside world muffled. The cottage is the ideal based for the great outdoors. On day three, we scaled Snowdon.

Lovely cottage, really spacious, well appointed kitchen.. Garden not very private and susceptible to flies but other than that would recommend.

This is a lovely cottage, stunning old fire place with wood burner.. The place is a lot bigger then the photos depict. On a previous stay the shower was very bad but they have improved this but it could do with more pressure Would be nice to have some basics (welcome package in the cottage) for short stay guests

Great location as I don’t drive everything on my doorstep with a bus stop right outside so was up at Pen y Pas in no time to walk Snowdon! Cottage was spacious and had everything you might need. Would definitely recommend this cottage and will certainly be back!!

Bwthyn y pair is a hidden gem.. A homely and inviting cottage in a quiet yet central position. The layout is spacious and comfortable with all accessories needed for a relaxing break. Despite the weather we had plenty to do, the local area is stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed our walks by the river, listening to and watching the local bird life. Will definitely be visiting again.

Pretty area, struggled to entertain two teens in the evening but thats probably to be expected.. Very surprised at charge at Swallow Falls, other natural such places( Sgwd yr Eira for one example) is free. Great fun taking the train up Snowdon, we walked down which we would recommend !! Fab time on zip wire, that is a must. We holidayed here in the heatwave so it did make any walks difficult, still a long weekend would have sufficed.

Fantastic cottage, much better than expected and in a great location..

The cottage was lovely, and an added bonus of two double beds and two single meaning no one had to share (although we had anticipated sharing from the listing).. Beautiful kitchen and lounge. Everything we needed. Owner came to sort wifi on the day we arrived without any qualms. Steep steps outside were a little treacherous in the snow and ice and as steep as they are would probably benefit from a hand rail. Will definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.
December 2017
Cottage hidden away, not visible from road, surprisingly the bedrooms are above the café downstairs.. Rooms surprisingly large, very clean, cosy feel, very well supplied kitchen. External steps a bit of a trial as conditions icy, but OK with care. Bond returned promptly.

A lovely cottage tucked away from the main street but close to all amenities.. The lounge and kitchen were excellent but the bedrooms are ready for a little TLC. It provided us with the perfect get away - just what we had wanted - log fires, long walks etc. The owner had very kindly left a bottle of fizz for new year as well as milk and mince pies. There were also kitchen basics which were helpful when cooking. The town itself is a great place to stay, especially if you like Outdoor shops! We probably wont return as there are too many places to visit and not enough time to see them all, but we would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in North Wales.

The bedrooms were described as cosy, which they were.. but we thought they would be small but they were large with plenty of storage. Photographs of the bedrooms and bathroom would have re-assured us.

Great place to stay in the centre of Betws, but still managed to feel a little secluded.. Nice, clean rooms and good facilities. Welsh cakes, milk and butter were a pleasant surprise.

The cottage was in an excellent location for exploring the surrounding area, and was nice to have somewhere to relax and chill out at the end of the day. I have been coming to Snowdonia for over 20 years now, and this cottage is probably the best place I have stayed in and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic cottage, homely feel, could not have asked for more, will have fond memories and perhaps a repeat visit.
September 2012
This cottage is located in a good position on the main street, just a couple of doors up from the Pont Y Pair Hotel, where good meals are available at a reasonable price. Free street parking is available 200 metres up the road. The cottage has good amenities. The only problem was some difficulty with the central heating for the really cold nights.
Mrs Millichope

Such a sweet little cottage, right in the middle of Betws! You wouldn't know it was there. We really liked the fact that it was on different levels and clearly had been used for different purposes at one time, and that it had a bit of history.
November 2010
Really nice cottage that was warm and comfortable. A very spacious accomodation which had everything one could need.
Mr Lay
September 2010
A very nice cottage in a very nice place. A great place for walking and I throughly recommend the breakfast in the cafe next to the cottage.
July 2010
Really beautiful cottage ideal location for pubs and resturants and close enough to Snowdonia to make the daily drive comfortable. Not sutible for the disabled because of all the steps outside and within the cottage. Parking was availible about 200 yards up the road and over the weeks stay we didnt struggle to get parked.
