The holiday cottage was in a great location for exploring all that Anglesey has to offer.. There are plenty of amenities and shops nearby in Menai & Llangefni which is handy. The holiday cottage was clean and comfortable and our 4 year old loved the large garden. The hosts were very helpful with any queries. Would love to stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful time in your lovely peaceful cottage and were able to visit so many beautiful places from there.. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending it and hope one day to be able to come again. Thank you for your kind hospitality and warm welcome.

Certain kitchen essentials were missing.. No scissors or wooden spoons. We believe there should be larger wine glasses. The double bed had an end at the foot of the bed which is not good for people over six feet tall. Therefore I had to sleep diagonally across the bed which is not good for your partner.

Had a lovely short break at this cottage. Its a good spot to get to everything on Anglesey. Cottage had everything you need few things looking a little tired but it was ok. Only thing we found annoying is we booked it because it said broadband wifi was part of price but you actually have to pay for it when get there. All in all though a nice place and a brilliant place for a family to stay.

This was our 4th visit to Bwthyn Gwyn which is a very comfortable cottage situated in a lovely peaceful spot.. There is everything you require including a warm welcome from the owners. There are a variety of places to visit from historic houses to beaches. The Coastal Path offers lots of opportunities for scenic walks. We enjoyed our stay despite the weather.

This holiday was very good.. It is 8 years since we stayed there and it was as comfortable and quiet as it was then. We were able to go out and about and do the things we wanted to. Also, despite what we were told, it doesn't always rain in Wales. We had nice sunny days for 12 out of the 14 days we were there.

The only problem we found was as we were aware that the owner had 2 dogs we did .... The only problem we found was as we were aware that the owner had 2 dogs we did not realize that they would be using the communal garden as a toilet not ideal if you had children

Bwthyn Gwyn is a beautiful cottage, it really exceeded our expectations, it is in a lovely rural location, and the views very relaxing! The accommodation has lot's of character, and a very welcoming feel. It was 'just what the Doctor ordered', in a peaceful area, and a very good base for exploring Anglesey. The owners are friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed playing with their dog Star and feeding the ducks. It's a real gem of a cottage, and we are planning to return next year!!!

Mr Evans (the owner) is such a nice welcoming person.. He left a tray of Welsh goodies for us on our arrival. He put two Christmas trees up and cut wood for the fire for us. This is the third Christmas we have rented this cottage it is so cosy warm and it's very relaxing being so quiet. It's central for all journeys around North Wales. Always clean and tidy with wonderful comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped. The views from the living room are wonderful. We have already looked up the prices for next year. The two dogs are very well behaved and always come to greet you. Thanks again for a lovely Christmas stay. Sue Hipperson - Hertfordshire.

The cottage was perfect for what we needed.. Our goal was to climb Snowdon and walk surrounding areas which we did and the cottage was lovely and warm to come back to with all the facilities we needed. If we do Snowdon again in the near future we would definitely book the cottage again.

We liked this place so much we didn't want to leave.. Honestly, it was just perfect for us. All you could see through the large lounge windows were trees and birds and the mountains in the distance. Just perfect. The cottage was very well equipped and decorated really well. The bathroom was very clean and modern, as was the kitchen.

We found this cottage on the internet and loved the look of it. On arrival it lived up to the expectation with a warm welcome from the owner and his dog who quickly adopted us as playmates for the week (the dog not the owner!!!). The cottage is in a beautiful setting and has been renovated to a high standard. It is very well equipped and in an excellent location for all of Anglesey as well as the Welsh mainland, including Snowdonia (visible from the settee) We loved this place!!

The cottage is exactly as in the photos, with good quality fittings. The kitchen and living room are open-plan with two steps down dividing the two. We felt very much at home here and loved the view to the mountains from the sofa. Access to the cottage is via a single-track lane and an unsurfaced driveway. The single-track lane is accessible from both ends and we preferred to turn right at the top of the driveway as the lane was a little wider that way. The cottage is built next to the owner's own house but this is not visible from the living room, giving us the feeling that Snowdonia belonged to us alone. Nearby Lllangefni has everything anyone could need, including an Asda, Lidl and an Aldi. We also liked the Waitrose near Menai Bridge Our top tip is the Port of Amlwch. The car park is free, has toilets and the walk up to the right along the clifftop is very pretty. Very peaceful and unspoilt. Afterwards, try `The Sail Loft´ above the car park. A unique building with a cafe and exhibition and the nicest staff on the island.
