The photos need updating for the newly fitted kitchen and the bigger conservatory.. Brilliant stay.

September 2018
The springs on the two sofas had sunk and despite the stiffeners placed underneath the cushions were still sagging and were uncomfortable to sit on after a short time.. We would recommend that both sofas require fixing or replacement. Other than this it was a lovely cottage in a peaceful area, well maintained with many small extras which were much appreciated.

Having enjoyed our third year's holiday at this particular holiday home we were sadly surprised on our arrival to see that the home needed a good clean.. Whilst the floors seemed to have been vacuumed, both bathrooms were clean and tidy and both bedrooms were similarly clean there were many cobwebs evident in the corners of each room, the inside of the fridge needed a good clean as did the exterior of the kettle. In addition the kitchen floor needed to be mopped. We personally addressed these aspects and as such we can only rate this year's experience as having met our expectations, not exceeded them. All other aspects of the holiday home was very enjoyable; however on reflection the mattress of double bed in the master bedroom was quite firm. Assuming the prior high standards of cleanliness are resumed would mean future holidays at this location would once again exceed our expectations.

After a long journey it would have been nice to have had a pint of milk in the fridge.. We know it is self catering and we were prepared but there are no shops very local and arriving after hours could have been unpleasant if we didn`t have some provisions. It is the first cottage we have ever been to where there was no small welcome pack. One other small point was that the water was so hot in the shower and taps that it was difficult to get cool enough. The boiler was going almost constantly to keep the water at the temperature setting. Cleaning was slightly below par. Now the good bits. It was a lovely bungalow in a nice quiet setting with a nice garden. Well equipped, comfortable furnishings, Wi-Fi, big rooms and comfy beds. Despite our small moans, we will quite possibly go back again.

Enjoyed our stay at Bwthyn Clyd, plenty of room bigger than expected, lovely .... Enjoyed our stay at Bwthyn Clyd, plenty of room bigger than expected, lovely views from the conservatory, only one minor thing and that was the double bed, we found the mattress ok but the frame creaked at the slightest movement you were scared to move

We were really happy with this place.. There were 4 adults in our party and it was much better than we had expected. It was very clean and they even left us some basics i.e.tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper and cleaning products. Also in the property they have a fully functioning kitchen including washing machine and dishwasher as wellas a large fridge/freezer. They had books, DVD's and CD's if we wanted to use them. The rooms were fresh and had been aired when we arrived. There was enough room for us all to have nice chats and dinner together but also enough space that you could go off and maybe read in the conservatory which was again lovely. The garden is well maintained and nicely furnished, you can sit out and watch the rabbits in the field behind you. It was in easy reach of everywhere we wanted to go, we even went to Dublin one day from Holyhead port (don't forget your passport) which was about 20 minutes drive away. We have decided we would definitely go to Anglesey again and when we do we will book this place. It may not be the cheapest in Anglesey but it has to be the best most reasonable priced place I have been to. Thanks for making our holiday

The property was a lovely place to stay.. The double bed was rather uncomfortable but everything else was spot on. Beautiful location, and everything you could want was in the property. We wouldn’t book again but only because we wouldn’t visit Anglessey again. This was the second property we have booked with Sykes and the description of both was very accurate

An enjoyable stay in a beautiful cottage, set in a great location, the cottage has all you could want, space, comfort, great surroundings. Would stay here again. Very clean and well looked after, didnt want for anything realy. There was only one tray to use for the oven and found that a bit of pain, if wanted to cook more than one item at a time. My partner and i stayed for 2 weeks and was most enjoyable, i would like to state for families if they stay and have young children, over 2 weeks we had 6 large spiders in the lounge and dinning area, we got rid of them, but might upset young children, apart from that the stay was one of the best we had on angelsey over the last 8 years.

This was our third visit to this cottage, it is spacious and spotlessly clean, with two en-suite bedrooms. A beautiful conservatory and well kept garden, a perfect holiday home. It was situated in a quiet location, but not too far from local attractions.

A really lovely bungalow, in a quiet cul de sac, no light pollution so a good nights sleep guaranteed, bed feels like a Memory Foam one, so not to everyone's taste unless you're used to it, also with laminate floors throughout we found it a bit slippery underfoot especially the area from the hallway into the front room. Spotlessly clean throughout, very warm and cosy and having the two 'en suites' was a real luxury and so very useful. The conservatory was brilliant and lovely to just sit and admire the distant hills of North Wales. Can thoroughly recommend this holiday rental to anyone, we would definitely book it again when we return to Anglesey at some time in the future.

This was our 3rd visit, it is always an enjoyable experience.

November 2014
Being a November booking the bungalow was extremely warm and the heating was very simple to operate, (thermostat on the wall). Having a modern conservatory also helped to keep the warmth in. The electric fire gave out a lot of heat. The garden was large and very neat with outdoor seating for warmer weather. The bungalow was located close to the A55 and A5 so easy access to all of the Island and there was a Co-op in LlanfairPG and a Tesco in Bangor. I have just booked our third holiday with Sykes Cottages and I should also like to add how efficient the Operators are when you telephone to book your holiday or have an enquiry. It is a pleasure to do business with you.

from start to finish, service was excellant. the cottage was well kept clean and comfortable, having en suite in both bedrooms was a bonus, as for the conservatory it has to be seen to be appreciated, which looked out onto aspacious garden.located in a good area for sight seeing.we all voted on the conservatory as the best feature, there is nothing we didn't like about this place and hope to return next year.

All aspects of the holiday and accommodation were very good. The cottage is in a very quiet location which suited us very well. It is conveniently located for visiting places both on the Isle itself and along the North Wales coast. Will recommend Sykes and this particular cottage without hesitation.

May 2013
The cottage was really lovely and the setting very picturesque, the conservatory had lovely views of the mountains on the mainland. The sofas in the lounge were very comfortable as were the beds. We were very lucky because we had lovely weather. Apart from one day, the rest of the week was lovely and sunny and perfect for walking.

June 2012
What a great location, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, dont be put off by the address of a holiday park, its just a group of similar properties all located together, no club house thank god. The accomodation itself is in excellent condition and very spacious. 2 bedrooms both en suite one with a bath the other with a shower cubicle.Very well appointed with all the equipment you will need. The conservatory could do with some blinds as we were unable to sit in there on a sunny but cool March day.(no pleasing some people) Off road parking for at least 3 cars if you required.

Always love our stays at Bwythn Clyd.- Cannot fault this property. We sat outside in November, both at the bungalow and to have lunch at our favourite eating place- the Pilot Boat. What a bonus is that. This property has everything you need to make your stay hasslefree. We are looking forward to our next visit in May. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

If anyone is thinking of going to North Wales next year I would highly recommend cottage ref 2251 in Anglesey. It is of a very high standard and situated in a quiet part of the countryside. Ideal for touring around North Wales or just staying put and enjoying the peace and quiet. We will certainly be returning to this lovely location. Because there were four of us we were delighted to have the two bathrooms.

This is a relatively new, purpose built property that was warm and comfortable with great views directly across to Snowdonia. The location, close to Britannia Bridge gives easy access to both Angelsey and Snowdonia. It is fair to say that it exceeded our expectations and we are considering a return visit in the future.

It is built to a very high standard and the use of traditional materials gives the property a sense of belonging to its perfect location.
