The High Peak and Tissington Trail are within easy reach with cycle hire, alongside is Carsington Water for sailing and water sports. Chatsworth, the medieval Haddon Hall or in contrast Alton Towers theme park and spa can all be easily reached. Buxton, renowned for its Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, is also a short drive away. There is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC, so you can enjoy a hot bubble bath after a day hiking the nearby hills. The gorgeous cottage garden hosts an array of mature planting and splashes of colour throughout the year. There is a table and chairs on the lawn with nearby charcoal BBQ, surrounded by pretty planting, perfect for enjoying the summer sun. There is also a nearby bistro set tucked away to relax and spot the surrounding wildlife. There is roadside parking, subject to availability.
