Bugaboo Cottage is a semi-detached cottage in Weem near Aberfeldy. The cottage has a double with en-suite shower room, accessed up its own staircase, along with a twin with en-suite, and a family room with single and bunk bed and en-suite shower room. There is also a ground floor cloakroom. The open plan living area has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. There is also a second sitting room. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and a lawned front garden area with furniture, shared with the cottage next door. Bugaboo Cottage is within easy reach of walking, cycling and watersports, and also castles, distilleries, shops and eateries. Note: Minimum of 3 nights for short breaks

Three bedrooms with en-suite shower, basin and WC: 1 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x family room with 1 single and 1 adult bunks. Ground floor basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Utility. Second sitting room.

Area
Aberfeldy is an attractive market town in Perthshire. The town has a selection of shops and eateries, along with a whisky distillery tour. Within easy reach are Castle Menzies, the Scottish Crannog Centre and beautiful Loch Tay.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

The cottage is completely equipped with everything you'd need for either a holiday or working visit. It is in a prime location (close to Aberfeldy and pubs/restuarants). If you are visiting the Aberfeldy/Loch Tay region, I strongly recommend the Bugaboo to anyone.

All good. We didn't use the odd living room with the two fridges on the ground floor.. Pity there was no fire as the owner did say that logs would be supplied but I think he mixed up with another cottage as there was no fire, no logs. TV would be happier at low level. Excellent hotel next door with great atmosphere and live bands. Great spot where you can walk through the Birks to Aberfeldy.

The cottage is well located and was well equipped.. The microwave oven did not work. The WIFI is not secure so it can't be used for anything which requires a login.

We booked this cottage for the Christmas week as one of the most important things we look for is a real fire. As it was in the photos we presumed there was one. How disappointing to arrive with two boxes of log burners to find sitting in place of the fire is a chest of drawers!!!! I wouldn't have booked if I have known. Gutted. Don't get me wrong, the cottage is warm with the underfloor heating but why have photos of a wood burning stove when there isn't one! Not happy

Absolutely loved staying in this well equipped and comfortable cottage. The rooms were spacious yet cozy and we had everything we needed for ourselves and other family who came for the weekend, my niece loved the bunk beds! Helpful instructions from the owners were really useful and the shortbread,milk and tea for a welcome cuppa was a lovely touch. The location is great too, an easy walk to Aberfeldy with two local hotels open to non residents very close by and easy access to tour the area by car, cycle or the local stop and drop bus. We would love to stay here again and recommend it to anyone planning to stay in or around Aberfeldy.

We travelled one day to Glenshee for skiing which was a fun experience. We stayed in the snowy weather during the 'Artic blast' and the property was lovely and warm. A good base for an active holiday with fishing. kayaking. walking, climbing, golf etc nearby along with places of interest such as castles and a distillery! The second living room was handy for my son as he brought his Xbox and TV so he could game at night which left us having a relaxing evening in the other lounge. The wifi was good. I would stay again.

The layout of this cottage worked really well for us as two families sharing - there was plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen and dining area was very well equipped, sociable and spacious. The location was fantastic, being peaceful and scenic. We would definitely recommend the property to others and would visit again with family and friends.

This is a lovely cottage in an excellent location, particularly for outdoor activities. Spacious, with generous sized rooms and bathrooms. The living area/kitchen are homely, well laid out and perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Thankfully the weather was brilliant for the time of year, but the underfloor heating helped keep the cottage at a lovely temperature, particularly early morning and in the evening. Excellent cottage all-round and we will use it again in the future.
