Brynhir Farm is a beautiful detached barn conversion set on the owner's working livestock farm, one mile from the village of Howey in Mid Wales. With upside down accommodation, including two ground floor en-suite bedrooms, this property can sleep four people. There's also a ground floor cloakroom and a first floor open plan living area with extensive, elevated country views from the balcony. Outside, there's also ample off road parking and a lawned garden with patio, furniture and hot tub. Brynhir Farm is a lovely, luxury base for friends and families to enjoy a break in beautiful Mid Wales.

Two ground floor bedrooms with en-suite bath, separate shower, basin and WC: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin (zip/link, can be king-size double on request). Ground floor basin and WC. First floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

With the picturesque rural scenery of Mid Wales enclosing Howey, and various outdoor adventures to enjoy nearby, this is a perfect location for any type of holiday you’re looking for.

Beautiful property where the owners have really thought of everything. The barn was big and spacious but also warm and homely. Kitchen had everything you need and more. Local areas has good walks and there were several shops and a major supermarket within a short drive. Our teenagers especially loved the hot tub and watching the red kites .

Absolutely stunning place. The barn had everything you needed. Was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The views are incredible watching the Kites and lambs. We were so lucky to have fantastic weather. Ceinwen was lovely and even fed the kites for us which was a fantastic experience. Managed to see so many places around and have already booked for next year.

I would definitely recommend and return to Brynhir farm after spending a lovely week in this amazing place.. The photos really don’t do it justice. I felt like I was in a self catering hotel suite. Ceinwein (owner and very friendly) has thought of everything and the little things made it feel like it was home to home. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but it didn’t matter as we thoroughly enjoyed chilling in this luxurious place until the rain stopped at 3pm! WiFi and mobile reception was intermittent but it was an added bonus to have a break from gadget screens. WiFi works in the main farmhouse if you’re desperate but we found a signal standing outside the main farmhouse. We only needed it for researching things to do. We filled our week up and ventured to many places. I’d recommend bringing a night light if you have children as it is pitch black at night. But the bonus of no light pollution was sitting on the balcony looking at the stars. My son was very excited to see shooting stars and satellites. There is a sat freeview tv in every room but we also brought our own dvds (not Blu-ray). The sheep and cows were very entertaining with their conversations plus we had the pleasure of kites whistling to each and flying from tree to tree. Stunning birds. Loved it all!

What a fabulous house that completely exceeded our expectations.. Beautifully laid out with everything we needed for our week away. After our long walks in the stunning countryside we all enjoyed time in the hot tub. We can't wait to return. Completely recommend 10/10.

It has been an amazing cottage/barn to stay in! Mrs. Nixon was a fab host. The place is tranquil and remote which we loved. The accommodation itself is huge! Only two of us stayed and it can definitely accommodate 4 people! And it goes without saying the hot tub was A+!

Mrs Nixon was a perfect host.. We arrived about an hour early and she allowed us entry. As soon as we arrived she gave us some home cooked treats that we really appreciated. We loved the property, it was amazing, home from home. All kitchen utensils you would want are available. Our biggest enjoyment was sitting in the hot tub watching the lambs jumping and playing right next to us. There was grass right next to the barn for our boy to play footy on, perfect in the nice weather. There are some lovely walks right from the door and we ventured to elan valley and the brecon hills. For a family with a teenager just a perfect stay. We had time to just stop and chill and there were things close enough to have adventures at. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Mrs Nixon, we had a fantastic stay.

The Lodge was home from home and had all the facilities you needed .. It was very clean , very spacious and extremely comfortable, especially the beds . The hot tub was fab and great to relax in after a day out walking and sight seeing. The hosts Mrs & Mr Nixon were very friendly and quite helpful. Although their own property was behind the lodge they were not intrusive and you hardly knew they were there . I would highly recommend this property if you want a quiet relaxing break. We look forward to another stay in the near future.

Brynhir Farm is a fantastic, spacious and very well equipped property.. The owners are very friendly and on hand if needed, but by no means intusive. We had a fabulous stay here over the New Year period. Lots of nice local walks and places of interest a short drive away. We will definitely be back to stay here again very soon. The cabin is very spacious inside and well maintained.. The owners we’re friendly, polite and went above and beyond to make our holiday fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The hot tub was clean and checked regularly. I would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful property set on a beautiful farm with the farmhouse/b&b next door.. Feels totally isolated from one side of the house, very peaceful with just cows and sheep for company! The property is furnished to a really high standard and the owners are on hand if you need anything and leave you alone if you don’t. Would happily come back again
