Superb house and views which would be hard to match anywhere.. Facilities are good and beds, baths etc are of excellent standard, the kitchen is superb. The hot tub is in under cover which is great and that also gives you lovely views of the valley. We got a welcome basket on arrival (nice touch). The house is a great base as you can hit anywhere very easily. When we go back to wales we will defo be stopping here.

We just got back from a fantastic holiday.. The pictures of the front of the property really don't do it justice. It's very spacious, and well equipped and everything was immaculately clean. The hottub was great - much bigger than most. For anyone thinking about booking this place, do it, you won't be dissappointed.

Great location for exploring Conwy, Llandudno and Betws y coed areas.. Amazing views from the property and hot tub. Lovely welcome hamper waiting for us on arrival.

Holiday was great, Bryn Derw was lovely.. Our elderly friend had the upstairs double and expressed a wish for a chair in the bedroom. My disabled wife would have liked an armchair in the lounge/conservatory, but these were only what would have suited us. The house has everything you need for a stay, long or short. Fantastic. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

The owners of the property could not have been more welcoming and friendly.. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was superb in a wonderful location, clean and tidy and well equipped with new and up to date equipment. The hot tub was excellent and the icing on the cake for my wife and granddaughters was the alpacas that they were allowed to feed. The cottage itself was roomy and the bedrooms were well laid out and provided more than ample space for all the family. You will not fail too be impressed with all aspects of this cottage.

The pictures do not do this place justice.. The property is extremely well maintained throughout and it’s an opus a lot of thought has gone into the place. Little extras like the Xmas trees all lit up and the basket of fresh produce on the table when we arrived were a lovely touch.

An absolutely beautiful house in beautiful settings, the view from all around the rear of the house was gorgeous.. We celebrated New Year with family and had an amazing time, the house is decorated and equipped to a very high standard. Loved the Alpacas, very friendly guys, even loved the funny noises they made when they met our dog.

The cottage and the owners were fantastic - Sykes were not very understanding and inflexible when there was the chance I may have had to cancel dyear to personal circumstances..

Outstanding holiday accommodation, our third time staying.. Beautiful scenery so peaceful relaxing in hot tub and watching Alpacas in field and view down the valley. Lots of attention and thought has been given by owners to make a memorable pleasurable stay, would highly recommend for either weekend or longer stay.

We stayed here for the weekend and it was excellent! The house itself has been finished to a high spec and has everything you need plus extra touches. It was also spotlessly clean. On arrival the owners had left us a welcome hamper full of goodies and were really helpful with any questions we had. The views from the house are stunning and the alpacas on the field are fun to watch. The lady even let some of us feed them. Also outside is a large hot tub which we enjoyed using. My only tip is to do with access. It is up a steep hill and a sat nav can take you two ways. Unless you are in a 4x4 I would make sure you come via the village turning right up the hill. If you come the other way as we did, the track narrows with long grass in the middle, which is not ideal for a mini . Overall though we would definitely stay again!

Myself my wife and our 3 children had a fantastic week Bryn Derw.. The property is beautiful spacious and comfortable with the views around the property WOW!!. The owners of the property give you a lovely welcome and ensure you know how everything works and also advise on great days out to experience the most of the area. If you like exploring in the day and relaxing in the evening then this will suit you 100%. We will definitely be back

Spectacular, the cottage was of very high quality.. From the moment we walked through the door we could tell that everything was of a very high standard, from the fixtures and furnishings, and we were not disappointed. We were a mixed age range from 35 to 89, for the elderly in our party there was no need for them to negotiate the stairs as there were bedrooms and very well appointed bathroom all on the ground floor. The welcome hamper was an added bonus, and there was clearly a lot of thought put into it by the owners. There was no issue with the key collection, the owners were very accommodating, also apart from the bed linen change half way through our two week stay we did not see the owners at all. The views were are slice of heaven and we watched some stunning sun rises from the seating area within the garden. We will definitely return at some point to this spectacular cottage.

Really excellent with all the equipment that you could wish for.. Should tell visitors the house is on 1 in 3 hill and not to follow sat nav instructions if traveling from the south ie A5 Thoroughly reccomended.

Lovely house with stunning views of the Welsh countryside.. Facilities were top class and the host Delyth is so attentive. Second time we have stayed and we will book again, a real home away from home

The garden needs to be dog proof, little dogs at the moment can get out and with Alpaco,s in the field next to the garden it is difficult.. It would be lovely if a small grass area was made available for dogs to run around as many dogs do not like artificial grass which is in the garden The house was ideal for the dogs and we did have a lovely time but could not relax completely when the dogs were in the garden

Brilliant holiday.. The house is stunning.. the owners go that extra mile for your comfort. There alpaca in a field next to the property. And the kids fed them and we where lucky enough to see a baby being born. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely holiday but the inaccuracy about being dog friendly led to two of our party having to go home earlier than intended.. The house was very dog friendly with floors that were easy to clean and a child gate sectioning the dining areas off, however, the outside area was astro turf and concrete and not fenced securely, dogs of all sizes could get through the gaps. Alpacas in the adjoining field were lovely to watch but wound the dogs up as they had to be kept on leads the whole time. We took the dogs up the very steep lane to exercise them with a view to going onto the public footpaths marked on the Ordnance Survey map. The paths nearest the house were fenced off. I suggest that dog owners are apprised of these issues before booking. We certainly weren't. We always had to drive to an appropriate exercise zone. We spoke with the owner who was aware of the situation. The house was lovely, comfortable and spacious and the hot tub very welcome after lots of exercise. The views very impressive. The welcome basket was very thoughtful. We had a mixed age range with us to celebrate my landmark birthday and the house was very suitable for all of them. The games room a real treat for wanna be teenagers.

Delth the owner went out of her way to attend to our needs, in supplying a sun umbrella and sun loungers this was much appreciated.. Maybe the supply of extra towels for the hot tub cold be considered. Or make it clear that towels are not supplied. Overall the cottage was spot on - well done.

We booked Bryn Dewr for a hot tub hen do weekend and were not disappointed! The house is fantastic - decor and cleanliness are spot on and the views are simply breathtaking. The hot tub was super relaxing and easy to access and hot tub shoes/flip flops were kindly provided for when you go to and from the hot tub! The games room was ace with various games, dvd's and books available and catered to all ages. The owners are lovely and very easy to talk to and organise key collection, etc. We were even given some food to feed the alpacas in the adjoining field which was a massive hit! Our only regret is we didn't book for longer! Thankyou for making our stay so enjoyable, 10/10 would definitely recommend

Had an absolutely amazing time at Bryn Dewr for a hen do! The cottage is furnished and decorated beautifully with breathtaking views. The hot tub was perfect to relax in looking out over the hills. Bonus for meeting one of the owners who provided us with some food to feed the alpacas in the field next to the house! Delyth was great to speak to in arranging key collection etc. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing get away to visit Bryn Derw - we just wish our trip was longer!

Lovely house with lovely views across the valley.. We enjoyed seeing the alpacas in the field next to the house. The owner seemed really nice and when we asked for extra towels to use for the hot tub these were provided very quickly. We would definitely stay again!

This was our second visit to Bryn Derw and it was just as good as the first time! Beautiful place in a beautiful location. Communication with the owner is great and the welcome package on arrival is just the icing on the cake! I could go on forever about how much we love this place but all il say is we’re looking forward to coming back again soon! Thank you for a great weekend!

December 2017
We have stayed in a lot of holiday cottages, and to be honest most of them are very good, but Bryn Derw exceeded all our expectations.. The location is gorgeous, the facilities great, the house is immaculate, and more than big enough for 8 adults, and the hot tub is HOT! Even the weather was great, growing up in North Wales, I know how wild it can be, but Christmas here was lovely and fresh, we enjoyed daily walks with Sam our retriever, who loves the nearby lakes. We can't thank Delyth and David enough, the welcome hamper was just one way Bryn Derw beat all the other cottages we have stayed in. We wholeheartedly recommend Bryn Derw to anyone who has this on their "saved" list.... The Clarkes December 2017

Just spent a week here. We could not have wished for a better place. Superb property with the added luxury of a hot tub overlooking rolling hills. The rooms including the beds are of a very high standard. The onsite facilities could not be faulted. A beautiful welcome pack sat waiting our arrival along with a most gracious welsh welcome from the property owners all this made a most memorable week in North Wales.

This is a beautiful house, with comfortable rooms. Our entire family enjoyed the facilities, the owner was really welcoming. The house is half way up a very steep lane on the outskirts of a quiet village, plenty of room for four vehicles out the front. The views from the back are beautiful, and the alpaca wandering about the field as neighbours are fun to watch. The hot tub is a bonus, it is lovely to sit in when aching from a climb on Snowdon. The quality of furniture is great, so many times I have stayed in rental houses and the furniture is uncomfortable but in this house they have gone that extra mile to provide comfort. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking with nice saucepans, cutlery and crockery, and a lovely big fridge. The welcome pack was lovely with local items in it. The log fire was brilliant on the night time when the temperature dropped low for August. I would thoroughly recommend this house to stay with a 40 minute drive to Mount Snowdon you are well situated to get about .

Where do i begin, from the moment we arrived at this beautiful cottage with its breath taking views, we knew we had chosen wisely, the owners Delyth, David & their lovely daughter Erin made us so welcome & the welcome hamper was superb, we couldn't fault this wonderful cottage, with the wonderful surroundings, stepping out of the kitchen to find Alpacas as our neighbours for the next 2 weeks was a highlight for all the family (i wanted to bring them home with me) we felt the outside was brought inside, as soon as you step through the front door, you are met by the magnificent views from the rear of the cottage, soaking in the hot tub taking in the surroundings was bliss, all the family want to return again next year........(that speaks volumes).

We have stayed in other rentals, but this is on another level !!! 5 star plus Family of 8 stayed over weekend, and on opening door, we were all blown away. All fixtures and fittings, top quality . Photos really dont convey how beautiful this cottage is, seeing is believing. Icing on cake is superb hot tub, and log burner for those colder nights. There is something about a real fire, our 2 dogs couldn't wait to curl up each night in front of this !!! Saturday night, we had eight people in tub, relaxing and enjoying a few drinks. It will fantastic to stay over the summer, great garden layout, quality garden furniture, enjoying hot tub, with spectacular views. The welcome pack, was fit for a king !! All local produce, a lovely touch by Delyth, and her family, who were the perfect hosts. Great games room, for parties with younger children as well.
