This all ground floor cottage has a king-size double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is ample off road parking, lockable bike storage and an enclosed, small, lawned garden with patio, furniture and a barbecue. With so much to see and do nearby and the wonderful city of York not far away, Brook Cottage is an ideal holiday base. The tranquil little village of Brandsby in the Vale of York is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surrounded by the Howardian Hills. Crayke with its award winning pub, Stillington with two pubs and a local shop, and the bustling market town of Easingwold are all close by. Family friendly attractions include miniature and full size steam railways, Flamingo Land, and superb eateries. Pretty villages, lively market towns and great walking opportunities are all within easy reach, and the surrounding area has a rich history and offers Castle Howard, Byland Abbey and Helmsley Castle.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
