The reviews for this property are all quite correct up to a point. The cottage is lovely, cosy and well equipped. However, 3 mismatched wine glasses for a property that is supposed to sleep 4 is poor No flutes, so if celebrating a special occasion bring your own. Plug not working in upstairs bathroom basin and a couple of minor niggles that are obviously overlooked. Perhaps a guest report form at end of stay would be helpful to the owner to ensure this lovely property is kept up to scratch.

What an amazing cottage, idyllic in space, decor and facilites, location is perfect for Conwy (10min walk) and surrounding towns of Colwyn and Llandudno only 10 mins drive. All the large supermarkets, cinema and takeaways 10 min drive. Whilst the cottage has that secluded private feel on the higher ground over looking the Conwy Castle. Kitchen has all required appliances, possibly a coffee nespresso would be good, but that's nip picking. Bedding and towels good quality along with immaculate bathrooms. Warm and cosy (wood burner with some wood provided) with plenty of internal space/seating for a family and outside space is plentiful. Lots of books to read and information about local tourist attractions. If someone is in the adjoining property privacy would not be as good. In January we were lucky enough to be here on our own. Would highly recommend this property for a couple or family wanting easily access to Conwy and surrounding areas.

Overall superb.. One tiny niggle was that the kitchen, particularly the cupboard doors, shelves and door handles appeared not to have been cleaned in a while. You should list the fridge as having a small freeze box - a really useful bonus that we made good use of! Very minor negatives - the cottage is beautiful.

This was the loveliest cottage I have stayed in.. It was spotless and comfortable and equipped with everything anyone could need. However what made it so special was the views from the cottage and the decor and furnishings. We all absolutely loved everything about the cottage

Bronwen cottage is amazing.. Lovely peaceful location with stunning views across Conwy. Plenty of space for three adults. Excellent kitchen facilities, a lovely log burner and a good selection of channels on the TV for those lazy evenings. Such a lovely cottage we have just booked it again for next Christmas

The views from the cottage were stunning.. We went with two friends from Australia and they spent a lot of time looking at the view. If we went to Conwy again we would stay in the same cottage.

This is a fantastic holiday rental.. You could not ask for a better view, absolutely stunning. Everything is finished or provided to the very highest quality. The towels, bed linen, dining wear, sofas, appliances, bathroom fittings are all top quality. My only feedback would be regarding the mattresses. This is of course my personal opinion but I found them far to hard and uncomfortable and was unable to sleep in the master bedroom. Like everything else I’m sure the mattresses are very good quality and will be to other people’s liking, but just too hard for us and I opted for the sofa which was very comfortable indeed!

Bronwen cottage was beautiful! Quirky decorations in a light airy space, with beautiful views of the castle and Conwy itself. Facilities were fantastic - like a home from home!

The cottage is lovely and location superb, the only gripe I have is with regard to the check in time of 16.. 00. This is ridiculous as basically the majority of your first day is lost when it comes to a check in time of 16.00pm. I also argue that my contract is with Sykes Cottages who stipulate the check in time is 15.00 (which is bad enough), how can the owner then stipulate a different time. This is not correct and contradicts the arrangement with Sykes Cottages. Why is an extra hour required and it is not acceptable as it is reducing further the time I have booked for the cottage. The cottage has to be vacated by 10.00am so it does not necessitate 6 hours to clean and if there is more than one unit to clean in this period then more resource should be made available, the customer should not be penalised.

Just had an amazing week in Bronwen Cottage . Clean & fresh with great facilities and really comfy beds. Amazing view of Conwy Castle, much closer than the online photos show. As great as it looks on the photos they still really do not do the cottage justice. Highly recommended. Oh yes - keep a lookout for Winston Wolf
