Broad Down, is a very comfortable, clean, relaxing, quiet lodge, communication between the owners was excellent, I stayed their with my mum and we both found the beds comfortable.. The site is also kept very clean and tidy, steps a little slippy in the wet so just be careful in the winter.

A wonderful relaxing break.. Super accommodation, especially good to have such a large main bedroom with so much more wardrobe space than you would normally get, and a useful ensuite! I would imagine the washer/dryer is a great bonus if you have bad weather or are staying for longer. After a previous review I took an extra duvet to boost the mattress as my back isn't great, and it was great. Would say the second bedroom would be snug for an adult but the overall space in the lodge is super. Finally, the enclosed balcony is fantastic especially with a doggy, and impressive to have a further table, chairs and umbrella down on the grass. The site is immaculate!! Would thoroughly recommend.

We had an excellent time.. Broad Down is lovely. We felt relaxed and at home. The camp site was clean and quite. Everyone was friendly. There is a pub at the entrance which is great and the food excellent. The static was very comfortable and we would definitely book again. Surrounding area has some great places to visit and we would recommend Eastnor Castle which is dog friendly to the point of allowing the dog to come into the castle apartments and rooms.

A very peaceful site in lovely countryside.. It was very easy to get to a wide range of places without having to travel on motorways. The pub next door was very welcoming and served excellent food. All the people we met were very friendly and helpful.

Site would have benefited by having a recycling point instead of asking you to take your recycling home ?

Great place to stay.. Very comfortable and with all you need on hand. However, one small detail stopped it from being a 5-star holiday. Sadly the beds were rather uncomfortable. Overall, though we would recommend it.

Was lovely accomadation.. Signal bad but ment no cold calls - great! Everything you would need. Lovely little touches for pooch too. Tewksbury is close. Very dog friendly there. The duke of york pub a stone throw away is dog friendly. Advised booking as popular. Food is amasing and the prices are good. Pie night was so tasty. Landlord was very nice too.

The cooker had to be lit by matches.. The frying pans need to be replaced as they are no longer non stick and some of the cutlery had not been washed properly. There was a cracked glass that needs to be replaced. I was advised the heating would be on when I arrived at 2.00pm, this was not the case it was cold. I could not get the central heating to work and only had the fire in the lounge for heat. Also I had to clear dog poo from the area near the dustbin. Otherwise the park was well kept and very quiet. I have stayed in Sykes cottages five times and this is the first time I have had to make any adverse comments. Kathleen Regan

The reason I put no to not returning was that it was a bit remote for us..

Generously equipped and pleasant lodge in an attractive and friendly, small park.. There is good access to places of interest in the hills, to interesting towns, and and plenty of dog-friendly pubs around to cater for meals out. Very enjoyable.
