With direct access to the coast path running alongside Berryhead Nature Reserve, it is just 150 metres from the shingle Shoalstone Beach, with its saltwater lido, making it ideal for beach lovers, keen swimmers and walkers. The English Riviera town s busy harbour is just over 0.5 miles from the cottage and offers an array of other exciting activities. From here you and your party can take a pleasure boat cruise, join a fishing trip or board a ferry across to the neighbouring resort of Torquay. At the heart of this seafront period cottage is the welcoming lounge/diner, an inviting space with glorious sea views that can be enjoyed from the sofas and armchairs, as well as the dining table. There is a TV here too for watching films or your favourite programmes together after exciting trips out. The kitchen, located off the lounge, has a modern style and is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. The fridge/freezer and washing machine are housed nearby in a separate utility room. A second lounge or snug can also be found on the ground floor. With a TV and sofa bed, this makes a great space for teenagers or two additional guests by prior request. The downstairs shower room is particularly handy if this room is being used as a bedroom.
