This property is located close to the centre of Brixham and its busy harbour. The real draw of the area is of course the sea and beaches and visitors to Brixham will be pleased to discover that the town has several beaches including one with a huge 53-metre tidal pool which guarantees safe swimming no matter what the conditions at sea. For those who fancy taking to the waves there is a choice of boat trips to be enjoyed from the town s harbour as well as a ferry which runs across Torbay to the neighbouring town of Torquay where visitors will find sandy beaches and an interesting aquarium. A flight of external steps leads to the front door of this period property. Upon entering guest will find the open-plan lounge/diner with its large bay window feature fireplace comfortable seating a TV and DVD. The dining area lies to the rear of the room and opens onto a sun room where there is a sofa exercise equipment and a good selection of books and games for guests use. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything that guests will need including an oven hob microwave American-style fridge/freezer dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a ground floor WC. Stairs lead to the first floor where there are two bedrooms. The first of these is a king-size room with sea views from the bay window whilst the second is a pleasant double room. The bathroom here has a shower-over-bath and WC. Winding stairs lead to the attic space on the second floor where there is a spacious twin room with dormer windows offering sea views. (Guests should be aware that this room has sloping ceilings and some reduced head-height) Outside there is a seating area to the front of the property with views to the sea and a small rear patio which makes a lovely place to sit out and enjoy the fresh sea air. Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Brixham do not have private parking. However, alternative parking is available in local carparks..
