The thriving towns of Windermere and Ambleside, which offer a variety of services like stores, pubs, and cafes, are nearby. Children will appreciate the Beatrix Potter World in neighbouring Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. Lake Windermere offers a variety of lakeside activities, including visits to the famed Grizedale Forest Park and the world-famous Aquarium.
