s was an outstanding 5 days with wonderful views of mountains and lochs. Walks and cycling were different each time of the day and weather. Truly magical. Wild life was there and included red squirrels, deer, highland coos'. The facilities in the cottage are to highest standards. 1 room sleeping 2 was great for my wife and I. Dont know who is reading this but if you have love of the outdoors. A love of Scotland. A love of travel. You must stay here. Truly remarkable for me and my wife, quality time in exceptional surroundings. Owner was very attentive to our one and only request more logs. Dont think anyone will see a Cessna plane land in the next field but it did. Fishing must be a possibility I'm not a fisherman. Boats needless say are everywhere. All though self catering my wife and I enjoyed several nearby places to eat from a hearty Scottish breakfast to the posh evening meal (turns out I did not need to get dressed too posh)

Just got back from a week away in this stunning property. The house is modern and the facilities are fantastic. The area is peaceful and the views from the back of the property blew us away. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away with beautiful surrounding scenery. Will definitely be coming back again as soon as possible.

What a wonderful 5 days in a truly magnificent location. Lovely retreat on the banks of Loch Oich. In the great glen and part of the Caledonian Canal. Plenty of outdoors activities including walking, cycling, fishing. Never went on a boat but there is that too. Self catering my wife and I preferred to eat locally. Full Scottish breakfast and evening meals were all easy driving distance. Invergarry is small but knowing this we travelled every other day to Inverness or Fort William. If you like solitude, mountains, lochs and other Scottish scenery this is a wonderful place to be your base. Among the various wildlife we spotted not many would see a Cessna light airplane land in the next field. Boat House is in May 2019 still very new and all furnishings are to a high standard.

The Boathouse was a beautiful and very well done conversion.. It had all the modern conveniences and more. We were very comfortable in the clean, well thought out and delightful property. We loved being so close to the loch, the peace and quiet, and wildlife. We would definitely recommend it and will be back to stay.
