Blaen Henllan is a heart-warming cottage resting near the town of Builth Wells in Powys. Hosting four bedrooms; three doubles (one with en-suite), and a bunk room, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to eight people. Inside you will also find a kitchen, dining room, sitting room with open fire, and a utility. To the outside is ample off road parking and an enclosed garden to the front with decking and furniture. Situated in a lovely location and overlooking mountain views, Blaen Henllan is a delightful cottage in a pleasant part of Wales.

Four bedrooms: 1 x king (with en-suite shower, basin and WC), 1 x double 1 x twin and 1 x bunk. Bathroom with bath, stand-alone shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Dining room. Sitting room with woodburning stove. Utility.

Area
Builth Wells offers a challenging 18 hole golf course, a sports centre, and the Wyeside Arts Centre, which includes a cinema as well as many live shows. Across the River Wye lies the Royal Welsh Showground, home to the famous Royal Welsh Show, along with many other events taking place throughout the year. With the spa town of Llandrindod Wells just 8 miles away, and the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park nearby, this is an ideal touring base.

We had an excellent 3 night stay at the cottage. Cottage itself was incredibly clean, welcoming and a very cosy and warm atmosphere. We loved the location and enjoyed the views while we were there. Could not recommend this place enough! We are already of thinking of going back.

We had a perfect holiday in this beautiful home. The views are absolutely stunning and it's incredibly easy to spend a week doing nothing but enjoying the quiet and the scenery. The house itself is also very comfortable and set up with everything you might need. Around the house there is beautiful countryside to explore and it is very worth going up the hill behind the house for the views and to hear the skylarks. None of us wanted to leave and we fully intend to book again.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely house. So well equipped and comfortable, lovely and clean and immaculately presented. Great outside space with swing, slide and football for the children and stunning views all around for the grown ups! Walking is fantastic, straight from the door. The house was great for our dogs. Blaen Henllan is not a holiday cottage.. .. it is home from home..! Just fantastic in a stunning setting with beautiful views. We were a group of eight, with four teenage boys and two dogs, but at no point did it feel like we had crammed eight people into the property. It is a lovely space that works really well with great heating, a kitchen that works really well and comfy beds with great linen. if you want to shut off from the outside world, this is the place to do it, you can walk for miles from here and not see a sole or you can jump in the car and be in the Brecons in no time. I guess the review questions are.. was it warm and comfy.. Yes, Value for money.. Great, Facilities.. Ticked all boxes for us, Would we recommend or book again.. Yes, Absolutely.

We stayed at this property for the New Year period 2018/2019 and it was great! The house is gorgeous. Spacious and well equipped throughout with a setting and views which are magnificent. It was the perfect place for a relaxed holiday to unwind. With 6 adults, 2 children, 1 baby and a dog we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.

Hands down the best cottage we have ever .. We walked and walked with our doggies and the kids loved the little play area. A 20minute drive to the local softplay where we all rode the bikes for a while. A beautiful home with all the home comforts from a vacuum to a tin opener. Everything has been thought of so there was no worry if we had forgotten something. Beautiful and clean, tidy and lots within the house to keep our 4 children occupied while the adults enjoyed a cuppa!

Had an amazing time in Blaen Henllan.. Have stayed in several Sykes cottages and enjoyed them all but this was it of this workd. Real “get away from it all” break. Brilliant for children and dogs. Was lovely to see children playing outside not sitting on some kind of electronic device. The house has everything you could possibly need and more, beautifully furnished and cozy and the surrounding countryside is stunning. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a break away from busy everyday life.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage.. The amenities were brilliant and there was an abundance of activities/games for children. We will definitely be returning!

This was the best cottage we've ever stayed in.. Pure luxury and comfort in everything you see and touch. It looks even better in real life than on the pictures. Great location. Very well equipped, and super clean, looked almost brand new. Friendly owners. Plenty of space for a group of 8 people to sleep, eat and play board games There was also plenty of space for our dog to run around safely (although he could easily jump over the fence a few times; this was OK since there were no lambs around during our stay). I'm glad the cottage had a TV that we used to watch the World Cup. I liked that the cottage was located far from any neighbours so we didn't disturb anyone and nobody disturbed us. Overall I would rate this cottage 10 out of 10. We all had an amazing time both adults and kids and even our dog. I really look forward to coming back there.
