There is also a ground floor bathroom, kitchen/diner and sitting room with woodburning stove. To the exterior is an enclosed garden with a picnic bench and ample off-road parking. Birds Nest offers a secluded location, ideal for those looking to get away-from-it-all. Cot and highchair available on request .Please note that electric cars cannot be charged at this property. Area
Jedburgh is a quiet town lying 10 miles inside the Scottish Border, situated halfway between Newcastle upon Tyne and Edinburgh. There are shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy nearby, as well as Jedburgh Castle Jail, Mary Queen of Scots House and the imposing abbey, which towers over the town and dates back to 1138. The Borders also offer walking and cycling along St Cuthbert's Way, a 62 mile trail between Melrose and Lindisfarne, which passes Harestanes Countryside Visitor Centre.
