This is our third visit to Beudy Bach and we've already booked to come back next year. It is a cosy, comfortable base for a winter holiday, very well equipped and with stunning views over the Menai Straits. The cottage itself is so peaceful and quiet and there are lovely walks from the door, and yet it is within easy driving reach of so many interesting places. The red squirrel who strolls up the path at 8.15 every morning is an added bonus this year!

We have just returned from a week in Beudy Bach, having loved every minute of it. (Self, partner and dog) The cottage is beautifully designed, well-equipped, immaculately clean and so peaceful and quiet. There are stunning views over the Menai Strait from the main bedroom, and in winter, you can also see the sea from the living room windows. One corner of the living room is floor to ceiling windows, so even on the darkest winter days, there is so much natural light in the property. The cottage is well-insulated with underfloor heating (even staying cosy during a met office yellow warning for wind and rain), and also has a very efficient wood burner. A brisk 10 minute walk downhill brings you to a rock & sand beach and there are many more beaches and other attractions just a short drive away. Our nervous elderly rescue dog loved staying here and settled down straight away. This was our second visit to Beudy Bach, and we loved it so much that we booked a return visit next year before we left.

Beudy Bach was like a home from home. So peaceful and quiet. Everything you need for a relaxing break. Lovely touch of a bottle of wine and Welsh cakes to greet us from the friendly owners. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely cottage.

We had a fantastic week enjoying the Angelsey coast ( the sunny weather helped) Beudy Bach was the perfect base from which to explore from.. It was spotlessly clean spacious warm and cosy. We enjoyed waking up to the views of the meni and mountains every morning. The penmon point with views of the lighthouse and puffin island are a short distance away our two children loved rock pooling when the tide was out. Would definitely recommend this place for a destressing get away.

This place is amazing! We’ve been to Anglesey for many breaks with the family over the years but this one is the best yet! Perfect location; the views from the master bedroom are to die for and a ten minute walk gets you to the coastal path and beach. The owners are friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back for another ‘away from it all’ break. Thank you!

The cottage was fantastic, nice to have a welcome of wine and welsh cakes which we really enjoyed.. Made to feel very welcome and lots of advice about walks with our dog. With underfloor heating was great and we really enjoyed the wood burner. The cottage has so much room and views great. We hope to be back.

Had a lovely 3 night stay.. Property was very comfortable especially the underfloor heating and the views are magnificent. The owners couldn’t be more helpful with good recommendations for where to eat. Thank you for the wine and welsh cakes. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay. One small point would be to have a hanging rail in the mezzanine bedroom.

The cottage it’s self was nice and comfortable.. However a blind on the bathroom window I think is a must. A better presentation by the hostess would be better and a welcome package/book giving essential information would be helpful. The area was beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay in Beudy Bach.. The cottage was warm and comfortable and we really appreciated the welcome wine and welsh cakes. The location of the cottage was good for exploring Anglesey and we also did some local walks which were very interesting. We especially enjoyed seeing the various wildlife around Anglesey - red squirrels, choughs, dolphins off the north west coast and a seal on our last day!

A fantastic location with first class accommodation.. A wonderful welcome gift on arrival (red wine & welsh cakes) which was very much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble and the owners mothers was a truly wonderful lady. We are definitely going back - if your looking to visit Anglesey/Caernarvon or Snowdonia this is definitely the place to stay.

We had a lovely holiday.. The property was very clean and well equipped (although it could have done with some more bowls as there was only two, but that is a very minor gripe and certainly didn't impact on our impression of the property) The owners were very friendly and helpful. There were some Welsh Cakes and a bottle of wine on our arrival which was much appreciated. We would be happy to book this property again.

This is a very comfortable and well equipped cottage - we found everything we needed there.. It was warm and cosy with the underfloor heating; it was also really nice to have a generous supply of logs for the woodburner and to find all the basics like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, salt and pepper etc. The situation is lovely, easy to find and with a great view of the sea from the living area and mezzanine bedroom. . We were made to feel very welcome by the lovely owner who brought us fresh eggs and chocolate cake. I would really recommend it as a place to stay - our dog loved it too!

This was a lovely cottage in a stunning location.. We can't wait to go back! The only reservation was the lack of a washing machine, but the owners kindly let us use one in another cottage. All in all - way beyond expectations.

Forget those adult colouring books, a week here is all you need for a perfect de-stressing and mindfulness experience! Fantastic location overlooking the magnificent Menai Straits and breath-taking backdrop of the Snowdonia mountain ranges, plus an ideal spot for touring the east coast of this cracking island .....Red Wharf Bay, Moelfre and Benllech within easy reach by car and Penmon Point (definitely) and Beaumaris (just) within walking distance. Big, spacious property with a great wood-burner and decorated/kitted out to a very high standard. Really nice being on a working farmyard as this provide a backdrop of cockerel "alarm clocks" and the odd moo here and there. The owners were really hospitable and friendly too, Glyn's Mum actually showed us round the other properties and they were equally as impressive. Quite a quirky layout inside which gave it character and the large windows, together with the various veluxes, allowed plenty of natural light to flood in during the day...and the moon at night. An extra bed side lamp and perhaps a standalone lamp in the lounge are the only things that could improve it slightly but overall, a first class property in an excellent location. Highly recommended to anyone looking to stay in and tour around south east Anglesey.

Liked the space and location, just a short walk to the Menai Estuary, with fantastic views from the barn windows. It was a very good base to discover the rest of the Island. One of the best self-catering holidays we have had and would strongly recommend it to others.

The perfect winter escape, for two and the dog. My wife booked this place for a week in December 2014, so we could get a break away from work and some time to unwind. The owners could not be more helpful, a stunning property expertly well finished, with breath taking views from the vista windows and totally peaceful. This place is really easy to find and only 2 minutes from the Menai Estuary for long walks with breath taking views of the Welsh coast line. A 5 star recommend. We will be back.

I felt relaxed and thoroughly refreshed at the end of the week, I would recommend and would go back. The views from the main bedroom and such a comfy bed made it hard for me to move in the morning. Splendid views and a beautiful place to walk, chill and relax. Excellent, ticks all the boxes.

The position of Beudy Bach, with views over the Menai Straights was great. The cottage, a former cowshed, has been converted and furnished to a very high standard. The owners were keen to know that we had everything we needed. Great dog walking straight from the cottage without the need to go out in the car. A lovely cosy and comfortable cottage to come back to after a day out.
